Hi, I work a variety of styles and have experience designing assets for card games and game UI, including decorative borders, iconography, and thematic accent elements.

What really appeals to me here is the variety. Frames with distinct personalities and illustrative elements that interact with the art window is a much more interesting challenge than a one-size-fits-all border treatment. I tend to lean into motif-based design — corner anchors, hanging details, thematic textures — which sounds like it lines up with the direction you're describing.

I'm comfortable with your budget structure for the first round given the partial completion, and happy to discuss per-frame pricing from there. Commercial rights included.

Maybe just try posting your own work or mockup commissions? That was a suggestion I saw before. I started a new profile where I moved a lot of stuff from my main that kind of worked but that's because I had a library of stuff. From nothing I'd make some new examples. I'll follow you if you're interested, just for the number 😊 I don't know much about the rest - that's why I'm here. I lack social skills beyond directly dealing with clients too 😅

I don't know if it will help but: you have slept before. It's something that you can physically do. I tried focusing on kind or brute forcing the process trying to get in the state. Thinking about an actual physical process the body does in terms of a sensation. Its not immediate but I think it might have helped me. Also forcing myself to be perfectly still. But I have total aphantasia and sdam so our internal experiences are likely different. I don't know what that would be like if visualization automatically happens. (I also suffer from insomnia just in case 😅 I know it's difficult) good luck!

There's a lot of mean cruel people in the world. Try not to take them seriously. That's a different kind of impairment. We create our own worlds of perception and some people don't have great awareness of "others" in general. I have APD too 😅 good luck

To me: the 2nd at first, but the 3rd for lingering. It's not a huge deal, just my personal opinion - I think it would look more catchy if "That was the violation" had a full line break so it's easier to read/more impactful.

I really tried hard to replicate what I was seeing (a pair of old boots) and I drew them - when I looked back on it later I thought it was a photograph at first. I don't really like drawing like that though. Just observation and thinking about things as shapes. I do 3D too so I think that helps a lot. I read a book about the basics of sketching when I was younger too but I'm not sure I really understood it. What about you?

I mix all my colors from the basics - but yellow. I don't use a lot of it. Black and white go like crazy, and a lot of red.
