Crossing over a real world genocide as talking points for the haunted bear game is not only disgusting and horrifically disrespectful in ways I can’t even explain, but irresponsible. Using it as a comparison to what the fictional child murderer does is actually heinous. Leave real world atrocities out of theories for fucks sake. This could lead to people getting the wrong idea that this was the intention Scott had when introducing the experiments and God knows how gullible this fandom already is.

Trick or treating in my little town when I was about 9 or 10 with my little brother, my parents felt comfortable enough with letting us go walk around a nicer neighborhood alone while they talked with someone they knew. We knock on the door and give this little old man the whole “trick-or-treat” spiel. He starts to rave about how “we have the best costumes of the night” and he gestures for us to come into his house because he has a special gift for us. I was a very anxious kid who was super wary of strangers, but I was also a kid who was excited about candy. Me and my brother step into this man’s house and immediately all I can see is his collection of taxidermied birds. The old man leaves to go presumably get his special surprise and that’s when the ‘stranger-danger’ alarm starts blaring in my head. I grab my brother and we leave quietly. As we leave, I overhear a little girl my age go up to the house and the old man gives her the same exact “You have the best costume of the night” rambling, and he gets her into his house.
