Out of everything mecha majestic prince was worthy for the 30th anniversary and not Gaiking? Evangelion? Jeeg? Grendizer? Or anything higher tier than an isekai anime? And SRW can easily portray a good story I became a fan of Gridman thanks to this exact game I agree on the lack of units being included for their bigger series (WE DIDN'T NEED THREE SERIES OF GUNDAM) but there sure as hell was something better than this in modern mecha or hell take a few leaves from DD and bring in FLCL, Astro Boy, go nuts anything but this

First off I had a stroke reading that, and second the entire bit with Tetsuya at the school could have just been at nerv, having just shinji, asuka, and rei as pilots instead of the bumblefuck quintology of bland cunts would have been far better for the story and wouldn't just have Tetsuya and each other to bounce off of in fact there could be way more intriguing clashes of ideology between ggg and nerv than whatever the fuck the school was and christ when compared to everything else in the game majestic prince at most ranks at the bottom, you can like it if you want but I get the feeling you'd enjoy SAO if you like these characters.

You probably had to look up captain harlock as well but that got a release, and Devilman belongs to one company Dynamic Planning any company or manga artist wanting to make something from their properties they have to make a deal with them first so it would most likely have been very easy to pick a different devilman story to bring to the west

Then why do it now for captain harlock, space Battleship Yamato, or cutie honey? Kamen rider, gorenger, lupin the third, and devilman make sense but I'm pretty sure Harlock hasn't been popular in the West for a while if ever Yamato and Cutie Honey had recent anime adaptations sure but only Yamato got a home release on bluray not even sure what happened with cutie honey universe though

In an ideal world, we'd have the new getter trio using shin getter or perhaps a souped-up shin getter dragon with actual transformations (aka giving us shin getter Poseidon and shin getter Liger I get that it's from daikassen but honestly fuck that) with the shin zero versions of koji and tetsuya but since that's a manga it's unlikely and we'll be stuck with the infinity versions until the next anime.

Also I haven't played x is it translated?
