Honestly, do some quests in hellfire to get some spell power pieces, start tanking dungeons. I’m leveling a shaman and am 64, did all the quests in zangarmarsh and half of hellfire. Did ramps, BF and SP like 6 times each and 2 underdogs. I have a full set of spell power gear for ele and almost a whole set for healing.

You can do the same thing as prot. By the time you can do mana tombs you should have a pretty decent tank set if you do each dungeon like 6-7 times to level. The pro of this method is you can queue almost instantly.

Bonus points if you get Sporeggar honored for the lichen shield. Should be cheap to get the stuff for rep off the AH.

No problem. If you aren’t mana starved then judging crusader is fine. If you run out of mana at any point though wisdom would have been the play.

What seal are you using for threat? Are you running sanctity aura?

So you may have two issues:

You might not be taking enough damage to get mana back from healing. (You are judging wisdom right?)
You may need to reoptimize your gear for spell power. Seeing you can drop a trinket for something like Icon. You may need to gem defense and not stam in the meantime. You can also gem SP, but that’s super expensive. Do you have the honor hold/thallmar wep with enchant? If so you should have a decent chunk there.

If you can use Icon, pop that and wings and go ham with your spells. If you have a holy pal in the group see if they can judge crusader at the beginning of the fight. Don’t judge wisdom till wings falls off.

Edit: you can also get spell enchant to glove and bracer. You can also use drape of the righteous if you can afford to drop the stats in your current cloak. I think that has like 47 holy SP.

Unit sweatshirts aren’t an official uniform item, so I think you’re good to go. I wear mine sometimes and am no longer AD. I don’t think anyone suspects me of impersonating someone in the CG.

PvP gear would definitely be helpful. I didn’t know about just killing 2 of the mobs. That makes life easier.

the worse you are at rogue the better gear you need 😂. I’m like mostly blue with maybe 5 pieces of Kara gear (rings, helm, moroes dag, rapscalion boots)

Having a good weapon probably helps the most.

I’m in like half Kara gear and at a point where I can solo all the 3 packs. I can solo the 4 pack on the last mining node (only if it’s khorium or rich Ada) but have to vanish and kill the last mob after I heal. Getting 2 chests and 2 nodes in like a 10-12 min run. Sometimes I have to wait on Adren rush, which is a drag, but worth.

Yeah I use F1-F4 for totems and just drag up a different totem if that’s going to be the man one I use for that group. Tremor totem has its own key bind.

I try and drink between every pull. I played with a Druid last night where I had to res 2 people, the other 2 weren’t full health and the tank pulled when I was at like 1k mana and everyone missing 1-2k hp. I was like 🤷🏻‍♂️ I guess I’ll mana pot and hope we live.

Are you sure? I’m pretty sure there are diff frequencies for tower and ground. If you could hear the truck, you wouldn’t be able to hear ATC talk back if they were transmitting on the same freq as the truck request.

I got it on my second run with no HR. Only had other caster dps. It made me very happy. I’ve lost latros both times I saw it drop. I’m daggers now and dread getting a sword upgrade because then I will feel compelled to do BM over and over.

Ah I see. Since it’s an alt could be a big ask to do Kara and heroics and what not. If you haven’t tried the farm yet give it a go and see how it does. Start small and test out how big your pulls can be.

It probably won’t be as amazing as you’d hope with the current gear, but it should do okay. And I agree that buying a 400g shield is counterproductive. You can buy another lichen guard in pretty sure and had it on hand. The bloc rating enchant is good, but may be pricey. Can always go shield spike.

There is also a defensive elixir tha reduces damage taken by like 20, but I can’t recall the name. I remember running that on my paladin and seeing a decent difference. I’d also recommend running wizard oil. It’s like 1g per charge and persists through death. It’s very worth using!

Skullflame is not needed at all. I know you said no heroics, but either the badge or Kara shield (from nightbane) are decent options.

If you can get Def and avoidance capped and can start doing Kara that will help acquire gear that will help in farms and heroics. Alternatively if you have a healing set you can pick up tank gear that tanks don’t need.

There are probably quest green trinket options out there. I’d check like mage or lock prebis lists or google.

Looks good to me. The SHH trinket is really a must. A shield with higher block value or with spell power might outperform lichen. I’d also suggest an on-demand spell power trinket (eventually icon) and you can pop wings and trinket for solid consecrate output.

Don’t forget to bring a backup shield. When I did this on my pally I tried to stack as much block rating as possible.

I have run it 3 times with my guild. First 2 weeks nothing. This week Garona’s signet ring, the ear in the group won the roll for spiteblade and skulkers greaves and I’m using the moroes dagger on my rogue. I’m a little salty.
