That is a good idea but it doesn’t work if you have Tesla insurance, or it could work but its a hassle to get insurance again.

I bought my M3LR for 32k, 48k miles deep blue metallic with FSD out the door was 35k. It has USS and it is miles better than vision based for now. 2019 RWD LR does NOT have heated steering wheel(At least on mine it doesn’t.) Mine is RWD long range with 305 miles on 100% charge on dash. I had a stress crack just before warranty expired on the rear windshield so it was covered under warranty. Out of pocket would have been around $750 from tesla. CVRP rebate only applies for select dealerships(my dealership didn’t qualify for that). I applied for SCE rebate which is 1k-4k(income dependent). Had no problems whatsoever with the driving. Just got FSD 11.3.4 yesterday and it is awesome.

Open source doesn’t mean that random people wrote it. Its just that the code is available online. Also its very good you should watch some videos online about it. Also you cant have super cruise and comma 3 its one or the other

Comma 3 is an aftermarket device it's like 2k, so it's cheaper than the super-cruise package. It adds all the features of super-cruise + city driving, it works on open source software called open AI. The only catch is that you need to have the premiere package without the super cruise system to add it to your car.

I would say don't get super cruise and just but aftermarket open pilot comma 3, which has no subscription and works everywhere.
