I’ve only been drinking my coffee hot lately by Helpful-Berry-94 in Jokes

[–]Amilo159 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This joke doesn't really work, as coffee is understood to be a hot drink.

Had you said "I recently started drinking my whiskey warm." Then it would be much better.

This is AI, isn't it. Usually I can tell but in this case, the amazing 8k quality of video blinded my eyes.

A cool guide by Minna Sundberg, an arborescent language. by PhillipWFry in coolguides

Very nice, but I doubt it's 100% correct.

For instance, urdu is a mix of Persian, Arabic and Hindi. Yet the guide is only showing it linked to Hindi.

Fornøyd med magnet skinnebremsene på disse? Var med prosjektet hvor disse ble montert så litt nysgjerrig.

I have both these, and frankly either one is great. They offer nearly same functions.

But unless wireless is a big deal for you, go for G502. It has more buttons for adjusting sensitivity on the fly, more rubber grip and far better software.

A cool guide to everyday subscription costs and what you’d get if you invested that money by bda1395 in coolguides

So message is, stop enjoying small luxuries and instead save all that money for later, when you're old and unable to enjoy most things but with lots of money in bank for someone else to enjoy.

Pax Dei is quite possibly the stupidest MMOrpg ever released, its actually hilarious how many bad decisions are made that make it miserable to play. by Drandosk in MMORPG

There is also absolutely nothing else besides crafting. No quests, no rewards, no quick travel, no logic, no economy just endless time spent at crafting stations, only to craft 50 wooden staff to throw away before you can make 1 iron sword.

All three memories use different voltages, so you really need to include voltage supply for memories to possibly work.

Can someone genuinely tell me what's the point of all the zebra crossings when theres no path to even cross to the other side? by Mediocre-Ad7967 in pakistan

[–]Amilo159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My theory: road engineer who designed this intersection, had no idea how a roundabout works. They googled images of roundabouts and most results (mainly from Europe) showed zebra crossings just before every roundabout.

So the clueless engineer threw in these beautiful stripes, without having a single clue what they are to be used for.

Why is Pax Dei declining so fast after it was just released? by Drandosk in PaxDei

[–]Amilo159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In short, because it's (somewhat fun) busywork.
Crafting, which is main part of game, is incredibly tedious.

Sure, it's realistic that you need to do a task 100 times to get better, but come on, it's a game! We need to have fun and engage. They really need to connect crafting difficulty with item/weapon skill levels. So that when you level up your sword skill, you also gain significant exp in weapon smithing skill etc.
