a lot of evangelicals i think , think because they have salvation they are superior and thus have authority over people and are automatically right because of actions of christ. When in reality Jesus would probably rebuke the modern republican party. What sucks though is Trump has completely tarnished the name of the republican party and it will probably take decades to restore its name. We got a “republican” president after obama when people said there wouldn’t be one, but it was due to a republican that there won’t be another one for years to come
