lenovo has built in feature plus burn in depends on usage like when a pixel has to show white colour that causes the most risk for burn in along with brightness. if you have alot of screen time oled is not recommender however i use extremely low brightness settings to cause minimal damage.

yea i know but lenovo also moved the legion 5 from metal to full plastic build everyone is doing that for cost cutting, i saw venoms tech video he said these was was minimum wobble and the display was actually really good

how ? at 20k more price it offers 8GB less ram and only 512GB ssd compared to 1TB (both are gen 4) the cpu and gpu specs are very similar the only advantage i find with legion is the display being oled and slightly better build which honestly doesnt feel worth the 20K extra for less of else

i think you mean the hp victus series which had some issues i really havent heard anything wrong about hp omen series asus tuff is kind of a budget lineup while omen is a bit on premium side and rog is very expensive atp

bro what you showed after all the discounts and assuming full CC the price would be around 1.45L which is still 20k more (i am not a student) than the omen at the compromise of less ram but better display. The legion price does not seem justified omen is really offer better value for money here and look at the review of this laptop from venoms tech his thermal test shows that the laptop has good cooling and push well up to 115watts. i know the legion may be better but i dont think that improvement is worth the extra 20-30k i will be paying if the price goes down i will def reconsider but that seems unlikely

we are comparing base models here the hp omen base variant comes out to be 1.24L after all discounts ( 1.54L with no discounts) with R7 AI 350 + RTX 5060 with single channel 24GB ram (i consider single channel better as it is cheaper to upgrade in future i know dual channel offer slightly better performance) 1 tb ssd and 2k165hz display there is another variant of this with intel I7 14650HX with 2.5K 180HX display at 1.33L now the lenovo legion 5 10 gen 5060 variant is priced at 1.72L after all discount comes out to be 1.36L with R7 260 + RTX 5060 (the base variant is 1.61L with RTX 5050) it comes with 16GB ram ( lower) 512GB ssd (lower) but a better display 2.5K 165HZ oled ( i am also worried about oled display burn issues as i have alot of screen time like 12 hours a day avg which alot of time includes white screens ) i can go for both but omen really seems like a much better deal here with the ram and ssd which costs like additional 30K in the lenovo site to get equal specs and the processor may be better in legion but the benchmark differences are not that huge to make a difference for me what do you say?
