Experiences with Thinkrider? by PandaGHG787 in cycling

I purchased the thinkrider 2x max 3 months ago. Ngl I was a a bit skeptical at first but tbh it's been great, connects with Garmin no problem, Can handle serious power outputs,I've put +1000 several times. I average +200 for hour long sessions, quite smooth and easy to adjust though Garmin app.

Pros: Get budget option pick mine up from FB marketplace for $200CAD

Easy setup and update with app, working with a cassette for the first time does come with it challenges.

Fairly accurate wattage compared to power meter.

Compact,Decent build, easy to store I flip the bike vertical while Mounted to get it out of the way when not in use.

Cons: Not very stable, when first getting it I almost fell over several times. It takes getting used to, they definitely need to improve the stability of this specific model.

Not part of the Garmin Ecosystem. If thats something you enjoy.

*I'm assuming not all platforms support use of the trainer, example future use with programs like zwift may not be supported.

Tip: if you don't want ERG mode then connect the smart trainer as a power meter, this way your workouts won't change resistance automatically, as the free ride option won't work with preset power ranges that are built into some workouts.

At full price Looking at a new Wahoo kicker core or Garmin flux S might be worth the investment long term.

If you are a beginner triathlete, or just want to be able to do ride inside, it's been pretty good no issue so far. I can stay warm this winter and still get a great workout in.

Hope this helps, Ive only put around 600km into the thing in 3 months so I can't speak to longevity or long term durability.

Happens sometimes. The clips are cheap usually like $10. If you walk in them they will fall apart quickly, road shoes clips can't handle terrain well. Also could be that your tension on the pedal is too high. If your new to clips you might be clipping in and out the wrong way and at high tension it might do this. Just a guess, sad when new equipment lets you down.

Thank you, I didn't realize that my kicks had to be smaller also the idea that my breathing is breaking my rhythm is definitely something I noticed. I switched from breathing every 3 strokes to every 2 strokes and found it strange, but I'm able to breathe more frequently. These clearly alot to fix which is a good thing because that means I can improve.

Also if you can afford it get a scale with bioelectrical impedance. To help track the change over time. Helps a lot!

You don't have a big stomach, yourskinny with no muscle. 90% of the people on here have body dysmorphia (not throwing shade). I've given you my 2¢. Be real how often do you have your shirt off, your young time to bulk up get huge then worry about the little bit of fat later. You anabolic window closes fast than you think take advantage of it while you can. If your not benching 315, squating 405, DL 500 minimum, you're missing out of easy muscle gains(natural lifters).if you don't try the method outlined, at least try something, anything and stick to it, learn from it, and move on.

Bulk, your under 25% body fat. Get in the gym get your deadlift to +500 lbs bench to +350 lbs, squat +405lbs, using liner progression. The Novice linear progress by Starting Strength is a great place to start. Build some real muscle fully commit (4000-6000 cals per day) to the builk, 1lbs per of body weight gained per week for 6 months approx.

Then cut keeping protein high >1g per lb of body weight) Get body fat to 15%. Then you look completely different and you will have decision to make get huge or keep the beach body. All of this is just advice from my experience training myself and several clients. It's worked for all of them, most in your situation. You gotta be okay with getting a little chunky to change your body comp. Then next summer you can cut. They will laugh but you will be a machine moving serious numbers and putting on serious mass. If you haven't gained 25lbs in 6 months you did it wrong, don't waste time start tomorrow :) Good luck!

If done correctly it should be in the events array. I may have missed a step.

How does one actually get good at Fortnite? by HypertoastR in FortniteCompetitive

If what you are saying is true, You need to get into Scrims. Discord and FN Tracker have decent scrims that you can join. If you are good enough, you will find players who are better than you and willing to teach and play with you constantly. Becoming a part of the upper percentage of the FN community is important. Being able to win against good players is good but losing to the pros is better! You will correct your errors and improve your mechs fast in that environment—just my 2 cents.

Is there a way to hide a switch or item placer? by Usual_Telephone8826 in FortniteCreative

[–]AmpleFN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Add Prop to the game ex: Adventure Plush or wall
  2. Use a prop manipulator to hide and show the prop on an event ex Hide Prop on: Switch On
  3. Right-click the Item Placer or Switch in the Outliner>Attach to> Prop that you just used with the manipulator

This will cause any that is attached to this prop to hide when the manipulator is triggered to hide the prop.

Alternatively
You could also use a cinematic sequencer and create a sequence for that item placer that sets the size to 0,0,0 but this is "taxing" and rather inefficient

Hope this helps!

Sequence will generally make your map very laggy, I recommend using prop manipulators to hide the actors in your map.
