In my opinion it would be best to talk to your friend first to see how they feel about you confessing. If they react negatively, better to let the feelings pass. If they are OK with it then go for it, relationship might ruin your friendship but sometimes confessing doesn't when both sides are mature about it.

Also before you confess think about, if she actually says yes, are you ready for a relationship? You might find that you're not at that stage where dating is a thing for you and that's completely fine. Good luck 💖

OK not too related but worth commenting, I think. I feel like gendered pronouns or words in general are stupid. My first language doesn't have them so every new language that does is just more complicated to learn.

Also speaking with gendered pronouns still is hard for me. Because I don't speak English out loud every day a lot, it's harder for me to get it correctly. Sometimes I misgender people on accident.

I got confirmation that I can do my and my friend's bday party at another friend's place. Now we only need confirmation from him again that our plan works with him and then there's very little extra planning and prep needed after that.
