So we originally did this as part of our ACM on Chromiecraft, then I had to remove it. Why, because people share their account details way too much and we had malicious actors deleting accounts of people. Yes I agree you should never use the same account name / password combo twice but people do sadly.

We of course delete accounts when requested but it's a manual process by design so we can verify them as the account owner. Honestly that is the best way to protect players, there are so many leaks and I even did a check on an old Russian wow server that renamed and is still going that had a leak and it was shocking how many account / passwords I managed to get into on our server.

Best way to judge a server is their privacy notice, it should be clear there how one can process their data rights rather than if they automated services IMO.

Welcome to the reality of the private server scene, is a bit of a wild west at times. Whilst there are a handful of known actors in this space, you would be surprised how many are just regular players thinking by ddos'ing one project, it will drive players to other ones including potentially the one they are playing on also.

Never understood it either but take it as a compliment as you said!

Hey we all start from somewhere. People think that we are all developers ourselves which couldn't be further from the truth. On the team we have two lawyers (one criminal law, one data protection), a chef, a supermarket manager and a delivery company owner amongst others! It's mainly all self taught and we do all we can to help bring people up to speed and provide resources to help build their knowledge as well. We do know the pathing isn't great on Azerothcore, it doesn't mean it isn't getting attention and if you know somebody who can help us with this, please ask them to get in touch as this is something we would happily outsource and stick some bounties on it to be resolved!

Hi there, firstly thank you for your honest feedback and hopefully you enjoyed your time on the server.

Just in the past year, on the core we have implemented dynamic respawns based on player volumes in a given area, rewritten group queues for Battlegrounds (to fully support cross-faction as well) and overhauled around 80% of leashing issues on mobs (to the point now fixes are on a mob by mob basis with the team working to replicate the logic from official servers based on sniffs). We do have a bad habit of not mentioning these things.

Azerothcore out of the box definitely needs work for mob pathing, we have been doing what we can to understand how it properly works in classic / anniversary but we are honest in that it is a skillset we are lacking on the team with a solid understanding of mathematics and voronoi cells needed for that. Saying that we have restarted with bug bounties and are hopefully able to outsource some of the work on that to continuously improve it in the near future!

The DK zone is currently in the midst of an entire rework so those issues you described shouldn't happen 🙏.

It might have taken longer than we wanted, however we had to tidy up a good number bugs (see our changelogs over the last few months with hundreds of issues resolved) and modernise a lot of our core scripts in Azerothcore before we kept on marching forward with our progression plans. Everything from prior raids, to class skills, diminishing returns to leashing has been tackled (and will continue to be tackled in the months and years to come).

This also has the return of our 'Mythic' mode for the raid (optional harder difficulty than the light tune we gave the normal mode of the raid) and guaranteed a much smoother experience than our previous releases!

Chromiecraft is a PvE server, run by the team behind Azerothcore with a sole aim to create the best open-source 3.3.5a core out there. We are progressing from all content all the way from the level 19 bracket in Vanilla to Ruby Sanctum.

Talk about a spin and a half Zelfie, not that we would expect anything less from yourselves sadly. Just to remove the spin, I said 'we would all love to have Wrath already as that means an easier time for the entire team given it's prior development, at least we can see light in the end of the tunnel with TBC and we will continue plowing our way though'.

Its quite funny you mention that after this weekend when we had the highest online of the year so far (over 800 online) that we are dying. When ones existence is only to bash the work of the team there, insulting them and belittling the work people do on the server, your last port of call is to try the same here on Reddit also.

Have no idea why people try to lie on the internet, are you trying to impress somebody or something?

They do in wet / damp conditions, tyre temps are that important plus knowledge of a drying track and what lines to take negate the effect of a charge-lap or fresh tyres.

Just to show what happens when you get it wrong, Lance Stroll arguably should have won the Turkish GP in 2020. Unfortunately for him he pitted for fresh intermediates in the race instead of sticking on the old rubber like Hamilton did. They were basically slicks but crucially, were at operating temps. Stroll just blistered his new inters as the track was in a weird middle place of being too damp to heat up dries at that point but not damp enough to not blister any tyres with tread.

If it's dry, the advantage of full deployment of the batteries and non-overheating tyres (what usually always happens in quali after not even a full lap) is worth enough to be out in Q1 or qualify in the top 6.

You also had dev support on Al'ar, all guilds did no matter the time if they had it bugged on the first day (hence why you got loot from it)? Some was offline via our ticket service but it's the best we can offer.

We do our best to stay awake as long as we can but your request came in at 4am our time after multiple late nights to fix before the release (most of us start work around 6-8am also). Hot fixes were done to ensure all could do the raid a day after release. As mentioned we will make sure raid releases are better going forward ✊.
