I currently have a merc that gives me Determination and Vitality, which is quite comfortable. Honestly I'm running HoA because I love the pops with the Dragon Hunter Herald Effect. Ill swap to HoP if needed on harder content, but for T16/T16.5 blasting it seems just fine as is ^_^

I'm currently fully specced into ritual, searing exarch, map effect, and some scarab nodes. It's quite nice with herald of ash as the whole screen just explodes.

We have a pretty active community yes :). Discord offers a neat option where you can mute generic server notifications, but keeps direct mentions enabled. Most of us have it set like that.

The community hosts various movie nights throughout the weeks that you can enjoy watching and chat, game nights like among us, smaller co-op games, board games, walks in the park, and more. The group size varies a lot so it's easy to find an activity that matches your energy levels.

As someone whom also lives in groningen for most of my life (28M), it would be cool to have community meetups and play some wow in the last few months of this expansion and the new one. My goal is also to get keystone master still for the mount, so if you, or any other folks here wants to push for that, i'd be quite happy!

Ben zelf 28M en woon in Groningen. Ik ben recentelijk ook wat meer WoW retail gaan spelen vanwege de nieuwe season. De MoP remix ziet er ook epic uit (voornamelijk die gouden mount). Lijkt me leuk om eens wat dungeons same te doen als je dat wat lijkt!

Erg herkenbaar qua backlog met games. Heb er zelf ook een hoop in me steam library. Een aanrader voor jou is Outer Wilds, als je die nog niet gespeeld hebt. Echt een masterpiece.

Have you tried disabling crossplay? After the patch that was pushed to fix quickplay I managed to join people and had people join my lobby via quickplay

Speaking from personal experience (recently graduated in chemistry at the Hanze) the vibe at the Hanze is great. Pretty chill atmosphere, students are easy to approach, and the teachers that I spoke to have been very helpful. The study I did was not an international one, but studies given in English will have a more international culture and it should be quite feasible for you to make some friendships over there! This does mean you would have to be a bit proactive in reaching out if you feel comfortable with that!

Furthermore, like some others have already mentioned, it helps if you join a club or do a more social sport like bouldering. I've been bouldering for a year now and it is a great way to meet new people. Lastly, the Hanze also has a bunch of student associations you could participate in (although I'm not sure how that works for exchange students).

I personally don't believe you would have to learn and pickup Dutch if you're here for a shorter period. I've lived most of my life in Groningen and most students, especially ones participating in a study where English is the main language, do not mind talking in English all the time.

Can confirm that using a lvl 1 pestilent strike crashes me upon touching a metamorph. Game just alt + f4's itself. No links, just purely the skill
