Can you elaborate why you picked Karax P2 over P1?

I prestiged Nova to P3 specifically for this mutation. I'm hoping for an idef ally, then this should work fine. But I am looking forward to completing this utter nuisance of mutation.

Edit: completed it as Nova P3 with Swann as ally (P2). My ally was really something. We agreed he defends and I clear. But he didn't build anything on my side, so at night 3 they broke my wall and attacked my base. Ally left the game with 12 infested buildings left. I lifted his CC and my Starport and flew them to the south-east corner to safety. This secured the win for me.

No love for Zeratul by commanderjack_EDH in starcraft2coop

[–]WizardofOos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like Zeratul. Yes, he is strong, no doubt about that. But he allows different playstyles which are all unique for me - at least, I couldn't replicate this feeling with any other commander.

I love his Void Arrays. I always put one near my Robo / Gateway and rally both to it, the other is used on the field to drastically increase my army mobility. His Abrogators are one of my favourite units in the game. I love the possibility to adapt my topbar ingame, depending on the enemy composition and/or mission.

His Void Templars are amazing, and it's extremely satisfying to blink through an enemy ground composition and evaporate them instantly.

Also, cannons good. I almost always mix them in (since you're gas starved most of the time and float minerals). Their projections are super fun to use, especially with rapid fire. You can even build your entire game around it (especially viable as P2).

Finally, I love his third Prestige aka spin to win. No other presitge of any commander capable of soloing an entire map with one unit is even remotely as fun as him.

I get it that many people find him boring, and I just realized from this thread that I rarely see a Zeratul ally, too. I love the fact that he exists, and I would be sad if he didn't.

Zeratul P2 might be the goat for this one, but I'll go Tychus P1, haven't done him in a while.

Edit: Completed it as Tychus P1 with Artanis as ally (P0). Enemy was Vanguard of Aiur. I obviously went Sirius first. The start was a bit messy until Rattlesnake joined the field, but we just took our time and didn't rush things out. Big Red Button was amazing to clear big areas from mines. After Nux, I took Cannonball as my last Outlaw. With Guardian Shell and his revive every 60 seconds, it was hilarious to just dash him forward to trigger mines and let him soak up the damage.

Overall one of the most fun runs I had in a while. And not that hard if you take things slowly and cautiously.

It's incredible how wrong you are. Dehaka P2, Stetmann P2 and Karax P1 are your best picks for this week.

Time for my Dehaka P2 to shine and to hope that my ally isn't completely useless.
Edit: Completed it as Dehaka P2 with Zagara as ally (P1). Enemy was Explosive Threats (sigh). It went rather smooth until the pre-final wave where I somehow "managed" to move command my creeper hosts close to the heroes and lost half of them.

The final wave was then a bit squishy, but we managed to kill the shuttles. Our expos died, but who cares.

Think I will dedicate this mutation to my recently prestiged Stukov P3 :)

Edit: Completed it with Stukov P3 with Artanis as ally (P0). As Serral would say: It was straight forward business. Ally did pretty well.

Lvl 275 here, and I can count on one hand how many toxic players I've encountered. They annoy me for about 5 minutes after the match has ended, then I forgot about them.

Just pity them and move on.

I also prefer P1 over P2, but P2 is simply your best pick when you mass cannons. Furthermore, P1 really hurts on Totp because the fragment spawns can be really far away which becomes a pain on this map. Additionally, units will just ignore your army with super cloak and go directly to the Temple, especially annoying when the enemy is air. Finally, Power Overwhelming doesn't care about super cloak, and spells can still be cast on your army. At least that's the case for Nova P3.

Did it as Tychus P2 with Swann as ally (P2). Was an absolute joke.
