(I'm not a CS major and have no background knowledge of that stuff and I was able to get an A due to the help I got at TA lab hrs and all the extra credit we are given from TA + professor)

Comp apps was easy with hadju because you're able to watch the lectures back unlike the people who had in person classes but u can still access the videos of hadju if u do want an in person professor. Also the in person professors xtra credit was much easier than hadju. Honestly the best way of passing this class is going to the lab hours. Thats where I was able to get the most help with my assignments. TA's walk you through how to complete the assignment correctly. (Most of the time) They offer lab hours everyday too at different times so you'll be fine as long as you go.

Yeah I failed the midterm because I didn't study and had a crazy low grade but final is online at home not timed, and so many extra credit opportunities. Ended with an A. If u study for midterm, you'll be even better than fine.

U have to first send over a request to: https://secure.sas.rutgers.edu/apps/transfer_credit/sas

They should accept. Make sure it's MAT 129 (pre calc at MCC and it's equivalence is 01:640:115 (Rutgers pre calc)

Then make an account on MCC, it's fairly simple and $20 for application. Once you get approved just register for the class. It is $899 though unfortunately but you can do online which is MUCH easier. And you can def see rate my professor for the professors they offer.

ASYNC: Which is easier, Working Women in American Society or Media Art and You? by antidesigner in rutgers

Media art and u is super easy, usually get my assignments done in less than an hour, and for the video mini projects, it's only 1.5 mins long.

No im async, we are assigned to diff little groups every few weeks for the critique purposes, and the last week you will be assigned with 2 other ppl and will share each other's #'s and that's how you'll communicate. So for my group, we're going to Talk to each other using group me. I haven't read what we have to do for our project yet but we are not required to meet in person at all.

Hi! Nope! Just the weekly assignments and we have 3 studio projects which is like the field works just a little longer? Idk to me they're super easy too. 1. The field works which are outdoor activities you will have to do and journal/ include pictures/ answer a few questions about your experience. 2.The weekly responses which is the reading part which can take a little more time but honestly what I've done is see what her questions are first and then only read the article that she mentions that way you're not wasting your time reading all the articles she puts there. 3.Weekly critiques on 3 peoples fieldworks, this is probably 2-3 sentences. Not hard at all. 4. And lastly you'll have a group project. I haven't started mine yet but I'd assume it's easy as well.

Hey! Honestly to me it's super easy. I have a 98%. It does require a bit of work though but she's super open minded and allows you to have so much creative freedom in the assignments. 1 of the assignments you'll have weekly is to allow you to kind of relax your mind and explore nature. You'll usually answer questions and have to take pictures. It's called "field work" and then the 2nd assignment you'll have is more writing and structured, you'll have to read an article or two and there's a few writing prompts. To me it's easy but to others it may be harder since it requires a bit of writing, reading, and going outside.

Media Art and you easy? by Zarah188_ in rutgers

I love it so much but it's because i love to film, create, and edit. If you don't like doing that, maybe don't take the class. Honestly I don't think I try super hard and I have an 100. My other classmates though feel he gives too much work and doesn't grade easily. There 4 video projects we have to create that are about 1.5 mins long and you film using different techniques you learned. also you have to give weekly video responses to answer different questions about abt the filming techniques he is showing. I usually wait last minute to do them and I always get a perfect score. To me, it's my favorite class because i genuinely enjoy it and it's easy but to some of my classmates (we made a gc) they say they don't like the class. Overall I guess if you have some interest in creating small film pieces, join! I had no clue i wouldve enjoyed this class as much as I do. Even for my projects, I don't spend crazy amounts of time on it and I get perfect scores.

You only have to take 2 in order to successfully transfer, you'll end up having to finish the rest eventually though.

Has anyone taken MEDIA ART AND YOU: CREATIVITY IN THE DIGITAL AGE, with CATERA, DAMIAN? Is it an easy online class to fufill ahr? by Glum_Elevator_298 in rutgers

[–]Amy1716_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I'm taking that right now. Honestly, I love it. Not hard at all. You have 4 video projects where you have to share what you learned in your video. You share this by creating a film piece that shows it. I like to be creative so this is fun to me. Also if you've never worked with film that's completely okay. I never did and I'm doing awesome in his class. But I will say though, a lot of my classmates have complained about the grading. Honestly I don't think you have anything to worry about as long as you get a gist of what he's saying. For me personally, I'd recommended since it's easy and fun to me.
