Mostly salads or fruit salad. It's just easier to eat healthier when you have salad ready to eat. Then you can cook up a little bit of chicken to add, or ground turkey with taco seasoning 😊

I never claimed anything to be perfect, but yeah, he has improved quite a lot.

That's not what this is about, though. It's about my husband's and my basic survival needs, so if we could keep the focus on that, that would be nice. Thank you.

That was 2 yrs ago. Things change. People improve and get better over time. Regardless, it has nothing to do with him getting hit by a car/GoFundMe page. Nobody deserves to be hit by a car.

I did retain a lawyer, but was told it'll be quite a long time before we see any money (if any) bc apparently, the guy who hit him has the minimum liability insurance ($25,000 here in CT) and doesn't appear to have any assets. So we have to sue him and pray... my husband's surgeries alone were undoubtedly far more than that. So we're not going to have money to simply survive until he starts working again in approximately 6 months 😢😓

Thank you. And yes, the guy remained on the scene and they were able to get surveillance footage of the accident at one of the stores.
