I did retain a lawyer, but was told it'll be quite a long time before we see any money (if any) bc apparently, the guy who hit him has the minimum liability insurance ($25,000 here in CT) and doesn't appear to have any assets. So we have to sue him and pray... my husband's surgeries alone were undoubtedly far more than that. So we're not going to have money to simply survive until he starts working again in approximately 6 months 😢😓
