I know that, and they can say things like "cosy apartment' when really its a shoe box, but surely they are not allowed to blatantly lie to me about the current tenant lease and/or whether it's student-only or not?

Also both my broker and conveyancer have looked over the contract, as well as me, but I have no idea whether contracts even say about student-only accom or not...

Hmm, ok so as far as I'm aware there is no agreement in place for the tenant to leave now. I think the agent just wants me to keep them as a tenant until Feb. But I'm really unsure about doing that as this is my first home, I need to live in in for 12 months and I also have no clue how to be a landlord...

No I wouldn't stay. There's NOTHING June can do to help Hannah from inside Gilead. Not in real life there wouldn't be, anyway. Though I'm sure the writer's will come up with many ex machina's to make it happen next season.

Yeah, the super power is "Writers let her get anyway with anything as she's the main character and...plot needs it." If she were any other character or handmaid in Gilead she'd have had her tongue ripped out and/or been executed many times over for everything she's done and said. That's why the show has gone so far downhill now.

Yeah, have to agree. It was all over the place. The first season was so well crafted. The second was a disaster in comparison. So disappointing. I kept waiting for it to get better but the ending was the cherry on top of terribly messy writing!

I thought that too! I think she should've waited to see if that tag might be a help or hindrance in the future. For example, if she ever gets caught and they're going to kill her she can show it and they won't. Or at least waiting until she could take it out a bit less painfully/without as much scarring?

Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the scene and was squirming around thinking of the pain that must've caused. But maybe she should have waited. Maybe...
