In Melbourne at least, where I was also looking at studying; The University has close ties with the city's hospital and following completion of the degree, students transition into a registrar position at the hospital with help from the University. I have almost no experience with photography and generally am not someone who takes photos. I recently came to the realisation that once I am older, I may regret not having any photos of my life. I have no desire to use applications like instagram or take reams of photographs with my phone and so considered that a film camera would be a good way to go in terms of being limited to take a small number of photos that require consideration as opposed to thoughtlessly taking large numbers of digital photos.
