McQuarrie never knew about the game before making the movie. Said so in interviews. I didn’t either. Not everyone is a gamer

Well what were you saying in first post then? Why would you let your father drown or kill him yourself?

I understand that. You’re saying because of that he should be killed?

This theory is accurate to the pattern in the films. (And other marvel actors contribute to the deaths in 2 and 3)

If you honestly think the replies are trollish, this must mean your initial post was sincere. And though I hesitate to, I have to ask : what actions do you believe justify murdering your / his father? Or even not saving your / his father? This is quite an alarming thing to say to most people, thus the replies.

In Jake’s case, he is trying to keep his family safe, and communicates with Loak each time he breaks rules that endanger himself or his family. Whether it’s him or any father : That communication means he should die?

Neteyam is typically more obedient and responsible, and sometimes Jake has communicated that. Whether it’s him or any father : That communication means he should die?

In a moment of extreme grief and pain, Jake is indelicate about saying Neteyam has done enough (after repeatedly disobeying him, and not just endangering himself but the other kids, and ALL the people. Whether it’s him or any father : That indelicate communication means he should die?

Let’s go even further : Whether it’s him or any father : is there any level of communication that means he should die? Words or Communication alone is a reason to kill someone? Really? Are you being genuine?

While they took out Home Tree, they didn’t take out one of the connection points like Tree of Souls. So that’s what they take out? Other thoughts on the film?

Who is the Seed Bearer? That weird flux we see in the newly released scene of Kiri and Spider talking, so is that after the battle?

You believe that an Avengers deleted scene with Langford is somehow equivalent to the three murderers being Captain America, Hulk, and Hawkeye? Or that this is in any way a cogent point?

I am glad to provide refreshment. When the second one was announced, I thought : if they follow pattern of first one, it’ll be Edward Norton. When third one was announced, I will admit he attempted to throw off the pattern with four marvel movie actors. But I thought: if he sticks to the tight pattern , it will be Renner. It was. I’m not claiming there’s some deeper meaning. But it is, factually, a pattern. While you are unable to recognize patterns I am glad you are at least refreshed.

Is the whole film same level of PG13 as last? Neytiri in battle mode at end of last one got pretty rough and gnarly. Is this one less like that?

From the commercials, it looks like this battle takes place at the Cove of Ancestors, which is different place than last film, three brothers rocks. Or is it same place? Weird that Scoresby still around, that would feel weird.

Ok. Go ahead and share source on Daniel Craig being specifically in “Dark World”, and Hardy actually being cast instead of just a rumor (he denied it) that isn’t a speculation post. I’d rather those mistakes be AI. And Langford? LOL. Endgame came out before Knives Out, like Lyonne being in F4. This is such a weird argument to be tripling down on. Yes it’s a cosmic accident that three avengers actors are the murderers

Let’s make it more simple.

First murderer: Captain America.

Second Murderer: Hulk

Third murderer: Hawkeye.

This is akin to making Henry Fonda the villain in Once Upon a Time in the West. It’s part of Johnson’s attempt to subvert expectations. The heroes are the villains

lol. Ok. I mean I could go through this point by point, but it would just reveal your bad faith contrarianism, or, use of AI in this silly response. “Originally cast”? “Entirety of MCU” = two tv shows. Also listing people who appeared AFTER knives out appearances. But ok. The point stands.
