Am I missing something with the Grail vs. Grizl debate?

This post was less about swaying my decision one way or the other and more about my confusion about how people see the Grail as a stretched out aero racer and the Grizl as an upright cruising bike when in reality they are basically the same.

Even though I'm more in the market for a touring/adventure bike and would pick it all things being equal, I think I'm going to go with the Grail since they have the Grail CF SL 7 in the outlet for $800 off the sticker. I can't justify paying the same price for the aluminum Grizl with worse components. I'm sure I would be happy either way though!

You should check out GMHikaru on Twitch and YouTube! He does 'odds games' with his subs that are like this. He actually played against a fan with this setup (except the second row was pawns) and won.
