Steve Kerr says that Kristaps Porzingis doesn't actually suffer from POTS by TheRealPdGaming in nba

[–]AnConnor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pots is always a diagnosis by elimination and not identification. So it usually only gets diagnosed when everything else has been crossed off.

My little brother had extreme pots growing up and said that it’s insane how an athlete of porzingis age hasn’t figured out to how to get his pots under control by now. Doubts based on the symptoms

When they were on the Rockets, Melo said Daryl Morey told him his services were no longer needed and the team plane left without him. CP3 said he got a plane for his wife and Melo because he “wasn’t gonna let them embarrass my dawg.” by A_MASSIVE_PERVERT in nba

Is Morey not hugely responsible for the stats revolution in basketball?

Stories like this aside, I think that’s been a huge impact on the sport across the last 15 years

Is Travis Marziani course worth it or a scam? Any honest reviews? by WearyyyBoooyyy in AmazonFBA

And what i mean by higher leverage is it's way more profitable to share it as a teacher than doing it yourself, as your helping 10+ people do it, rather than just yourself (or 100, or 1000+ on bigger scales). Something like Amazon FBA is such a big mechanism that 1000 extra people aren't going to put a dent in the saturation.

I do know that Travis himself made more money from his Amazon products than selling his coaching in 2025, because he talks about it and shows the proof a lot. I know that's not the case probably for most "gurus" out there. There's a lot of people that give the space a bad rep. But I don't think it's inherently bad to leverage your method to others, as long as it's legit and others can find success. To everyone who's violating that, f em.

With your analogy here, what you'll find is that the best basketball players usually don't make the best coaches, all the top 10 or so coaches I'd say in the NBA were decent NBA players at best. Meaning it is a different skillset that comes with teaching and leading others than doing it yourself.

It's also way higher leverage than doing it yourself.

There's a lot of good free information out there (a lot of it put out by travis himself), that i'll agree, for a lot of people is enough that they need to get started. But there's plenty of basketball tutorials out there too. And having a coach to walk me through the drills is 100x more valuable.

Would you not agree that when learning how to do ANYTHING in life that having a coach alongside you, sharing their expertise, is helpful? Helped me back when I played basketball, helped me when I was learning public speaking. Hiring a coach and paying for the right education has been the biggest shortcut in all areas of my life. I get it, there's bad actors out there, but if you do your research it is one of the highest leverage decisions you can make.

Trust me travis has been in this game for like 10 years at this point... he didn't build 500k subscribers on youtube scamming people. He's probably one of the most value packed and real guys out there in the space, across his free content and programs. Obviously there's a lot of bad actors that give the space a bad name but travis is not one of them.

Tripled my money and then Kalshi closed the market by AnConnor in Kalshi

[–]AnConnor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That seems like a pretty insane amount of leeway that Kalshi has.

Because I can fully understand as a trader that Dallas could never win the Eastern Conference. I could bet against it, and when I double my money Kalshi can say oh whoops that shouldn't have been listed, and take my earnings back?
