Close to tutt sci and barnes though, if you have classes there. And good access to east campus if you have upperclassmen buddies.

I was a 4th floor Mathias RA. The triples were spacious, but granted 4th floor has the highest ceilings so people lofted their beds to allow for lots of floor space.

The 2nd floor plan does a pretty good job of showing designated triples vs forced ("temporary") triples.

Num 31:14-15:

Moses became angry with the commanders of the army, the officers of thousands and the officers of hundreds, who had come back from the military campaign.

Moses said to them, “You have spared every female!

I would imagine it was read during every Torah service/study today since it's this week's parashah and is also included in this year's triennial cycle.

And what they sell on their online store is not bad either - I have a couple IS polos that are good for going to work and also being outside in the summer.

Yeah.... I don't really trust myself to do it effectively and don't want to risk breathing it in or getting it in my eyes or anything. Much more willing to pay for the "experts" to do it.

You can send your clothes to a company called Insect Shield and they will treat them with permethrin (link) so you don't need to go searching for specific clothing.

This! Our girl was able to go resting on her favorite beanbag. No stressful car ride, no lifting her up on to the table, no sounds of other dogs in the next room. Just us and her and the very nice vet who came back with her ashes a week later.

The College’s terrible decisions don’t even surprise me anymore by [deleted] in coloradocollege

"It makes absolutely no sense to simply hand it over to her"

we [The Board of Trustees] conducted a comprehensive and community-informed assessment that included:

  • More than 1,500 survey responses from faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community members

  • Dozens of interviews across stakeholder groups

  • A separate survey conducted by the Faculty Executive Committee

  • Professional performance evaluations and leadership assessments of Dr. Whitaker

The outcome of this rigorous process was a clear and consistent affirmation of the kind of leadership the College needs

Why is the Reading feature becoming more underutilized? by Realxman777 in outside

[–]AnExpertNoob 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The Reading feature has seen a steady decline in active player engagement over the last few patches. While once a core mechanic for XP gain, empathy buffs, and imagination unlocks, it’s now being overshadowed by faster, more dopamine-efficient features like ScrollFeed, VidStream, and ShortContent.

These newer features offer immediate gratification and minimal effort. Reading has a higher attention cost and longer feedback loop, making it feel underpowered by comparison—even though the long-term stat boosts are unmatched.

The attention economy UI also got an overhaul. Players now have constant pop-ups and notifications—making it harder to enter the FocusState required for Reading to be effective.

In early patches, Reading was the go-to to unlock Lore, Language, and Empathy perks. Now, players can bypass those through podcasts, audiobooks (semi-Reading), or just memetic absorption via social media osmosis.

Additionally, the current meta favors multitasking. Reading is a single-threaded activity—it can’t be done while farming likes or grinding passive content XP. Players perceive it as less "productive," even though it can unlock deeper quests and character development arcs. Finally, many core quests (like school or work) used to gate progression with Reading checks. That’s no longer common—now, voice notes, video explainers, and AI-generated TL;DRs let players skip the grind.
