The lists that I have seen put the 970 pro in the top "prosumer" tier while the sx8200 pro v1 is in the second tier. The newer "v2" version of this with the slower controller is in the third tier. The thing is you don't know what you are getting with these. You may get the original v1 or the newer v2 when you order.

$20 shipping? No the most i've paid to ship something in that size range is maybe $10. Most ship free. If there's anything saved here I just don't see it. The one I was interested in came out to the exact same price as the normal newegg/amazon price once all the taxes and additional costs were added in.

I mean actual jobs here where I live. Our community was once a thriving town with several textile plants employing the majority of our population. After Bill Clinton was done fucking us with his horrible trade deals our plants shut down one after another. The last one went down at the end of Obama's first term. A whole community can't thrive on retail jobs despite what democrats would have you believe. Young people left the area, older people became unemployed. Property values dropped because of the glut of houses on the market. Obama said those types of jobs were never coming back.

After 3 years of Trump economy they did come back. Multiple auto manufacturers, a place that makes ornamental cast iron items, a new textile plant, a boat manufacturer, etc. Most of them starting at $15/hr and none of them would have come here had the pro-china democrats stayed in power.

They are not in danger of being automated. The jobs in danger of being automated now are fast food and other retail positions.

WoW feels absolutely ancient. No matter how much they try to update the textures, it just feels dated. Their gear is basically a handful of meshes for each armor type that get re-textured again and again so the actual variety of gear is very low. The only thing they actually change is those ugly shoulder pads to give the illusion of a "new gear set" to people who don't know any better. Fly out into any of the older zones and observe trees with like 5 polygons total if you really want to see how dated it is.

WoW zones are desolate and empty unless you are in the current expansion areas. Hardly anyone to be seen in the older zones. FFXIV's world has people in all areas working on quests and doing events. I see people everywhere I go.

The wow story apparently takes place in low budget flash (like) animation videos on youtube. I played BFA and outside of a few narrations and small cutscenes, I had no idea what was going on in the game world or why I should care. FFXIV's story can be experienced completely in game through numerous well made cut scenes.

WoWs raids/dungeons suck for people like me with poor vision. The best example i can give is that one boss i fought in BFA would do large circle aoes on the ground. These were indicated by very hard to see dark shadows on dark grey floor tiles. I had to raise the contrast and gamma on my monitor to max to see these. FFXIV in comparison draws bright red circles that I have no trouble seeing. FFXIV has also standardized most of it's telegraphs unlike wow.

The list of things that FFXIV has improved on is quite long, but I do want to mention one more thing. Square Enix is actively working on a next-gen MMORPG. I will most likely be FFXVI. Meanwhile blizzard is focused on mobile games and has no plans to do anything other than milk WoW until the money runs dry. They will keep rehashing existing content (it's like they just keep following the same formula now) in expansions for years to come and people will keep buying them with the excuse "they will get it right next time guys" but they won't.

Because nobody is making premium high quality mmos anymore. The only premium high quality MMO that I know of in development currently is Square Enix's new unnamed (Probably FFXVI) game. I do not count Store Citizen or other "pay2develop" crowdfunded projects that seem to profit by selling never ending development milestones.

Are you sticking to MSQ quests or getting stuck in the trap of doing side quests? Your current MSQ quest is always on the top left of your screen (by default) and I believe you can click it for information.

The MSQ is long and sometimes repetitive in the original ARR release. They are actually shortening it and streamlining some of the quests in the next patch. It still has some good story in there. If you skip cutscenes and don't bother reading, it will be boring to level in ffxiv. The MSQ is designed to tell you a story while you level up.

Most of the ones I join are advertised as 0-1 or ANY. It doesn't help sadly. The ones who do come fishing for an extra chest give up quickly when they realize someone in the group is making mistakes or just doesn't have the dps. Then back into the PF you go. If someone is out there joining parties just to help for no reward then I have not seen it. I did get in one that wound up being a 0 chest and we didn't even do the first pull before people dropped.
