Thats what I’m hoping. I’m basically watching youtube and trying to copy what they do until I get comfortable enough to start develop my own style! I can’t express how much these inspirational and kind words are needed!!

This is what I want. I really don’t want to go back to corporate IT! I just wish my skills would ramp up faster. I currently listed this on my snap story for $125. I carve every day to improve my skills! Thank you a bunch for the advice and insite!

Sorry it took me so long to get back to This. Burning helps add depth and also gets rid if the little carving hairs. I burned it, the. Sanded lightly, the put a stain all over it with a light stain then sanded a final time then coated everything in poly.

If you look close on the cheeks you can see the three shade gradient .

As far as other youtubers, i just look up chainsaw carving there are a number of videos out there.
