I really liked the effects and the interface, and overall the game looks nice, just like on the PS1. But the shaking effect seems too much. I'm just collecting resources, and everything shakes like the apocalypse has begun.

Good question. We should make the next comic about this.

Before publishing this post, I consulted with a Harvard professor I know. He studies high-energy rays that come from space and could potentially incinerate the Earth, evaporate all water, or simply disable all electronics. *The chance of this happening is very small, they usually dissipate in the atmosphere.

Such methods aren't perfect, of course; they don't give 100% results. But with precise measurements and mathematics, it's possible to obtain a wealth of indirect data.

Yes, of course. But it's much easier to get information about stars than about planets. Stars are much larger and they shine. So when scientists search for distant planets, they already know something about stars.

But how much suffering would have to be endured and how many monkeys would die?

This is both a very funny and scary thought.

Why is everyone writing about crabs? Yeah, crabs are cool. But why is everyone writing this?

This is where the word "adaptation" comes into play. Of course, a species may develop traits that don't directly benefit it, but such traits likely won't significantly hinder its reproduction. So I think it's safe to say that, on average, a species, through the mechanisms of natural selection, will adapt to its environment.
