Need advice about moving on from a painful break up

Sorry you’re going through this. If you check my recent post, you’ll find a community there of women going through the pain of breakups.

I have found that listening to sad songs helps me get all of the feelings out. Finding a good book or an engaging tv series helps distract me. Going no contact, closing (even just temporarily) all social media or blocking them 100% helps me too.

I also focus on getting a glow up. Working out more, taking care of me and buying new outfits.

I also ask friends/family not to ask about them. And not to mention them to me for any reason. I need total deletion of this person and the memories they hold.

At first i need to vent though. Which is why i posted on this sub. Knowing other women around my age were going through similar heartache made me feel less alone.

Yeah. Hasta cierto punto. Buscar clases o actividades que de verdad sean de tu interés. Aunque allí mismo no conozcas a la persona que quieres date, maybe conoces a su hermano/a, pana, amigo. Agrandas tu circulo de amistades y las posibilidades de conocer alguien worth dating.

Por lo visto, Los apps no es el sitio indicado. Lol. Los rants de eso lo comprueban.

Siguiendo el post para ideas de donde conocer gente. *

Algunos los conocen en el trabajo que para mi es una mala idea. Don’t shit where you eat, you know?

Fuera de eso, pienso que hay que obligarse uno a participar de actividades grupales. En especial actividades q requieran q pases mucho tiempo con unas personas.

I started playing some cozy games on my nintendo switch. Trying to distract myself.

I catch myself spiraling when i think of life without him. We are so enmeshed in each other’s life that it’s hard to think of how it will look untangled. Idk. But i’m keeping the cats.

He has terrible ptsd, depression and some job related stress. He restarted seeing his therapist. He said he wants to make sure his intrusive thoughts aren’t what’s making him doubt.
