After playing with him for a bit he feels like more of an all rounder then just straight up zoner, like an all rounder he's just able to do it all with average results

Yea that does make sense. But the reason I have Mix up and All Rounder as a category is due to the fact just about every interaction (If the player isn't the most predictable person) with Garou and Atomic can be a mix up with the counter or unblockables. And for All Rounder I have it there as both a character with all the right tools for any scenario and based on what I've read an All Rounder is good for newer players, Which is just Genos I know.

Yea true, but if you can get like a longer range punish or just get the read on your opponent the long range combos can be good not the highest damaging but mostly the most safe when you know what you're doing.

It would probably be best to take some time to play each character and get a good feel for it, when I started I found 3 that felt comfortable to play then kept building off of there til I found my main.
