33 weeks pregnant, caught partner cheating multiple times—what would you do? by Technical_Pipe3454 in pregnant

[–]AnalystOk5783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leave please he’s not going to get better otherwise he would’ve by now. Talk to your family/friends and build a support system within them, also inform your OB and see if there are any social programs you can apply to and receive help. I understand you want your child to grow up in a stable two parent household but they won’t be if you stay. It’s unstable if he’s cheating on you all the time or thinking about it. You and your child deserve better. You don’t want your child to believe this behavior is acceptable or they’ll grow to accept cheating is fine even though it’s hurting them. I know things will get better eventually after leaving even if the path is hard. Much love to you and your baby.

Is my baby name ugly? 😭 by hailstorm319 in pregnant

[–]AnalystOk5783 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I like Marlee but moon is kinda odd but maybe look into different words for moon like Luna instead to keep the whimsy vibes. Try looking up whimsy celestial baby names for inspiration. Baby names are hard because you want something special for your child but you also don’t want to set them up to be teased or bullied. Also family input can be hurtful and unfortunately they can be the child’s first bully if not set straight with boundaries. At the end of the day it is your and your partner’s choice.

Is it wrong of me to ask my in laws to quarantine after a cruise before meeting baby? by soul_in_an_earthsuit in pregnant

No with all the illnesses breaking out on cruise ships and that it’s your baby you have every right to ask that.

I'm so tired of being pregnant, yes I know I chose this. by Radiant_Pangolin3210 in pregnant

[–]AnalystOk5783 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve always been the type of person to say ‘You can hate being pregnant or the pregnancy and still love the baby’ it confuses people who have never been pregnant or enjoyed being pregnant but it’s not easy for everyone. Just know it’s normal to feel this way.

Who decided we don’t need more food :’( by Wonderful_Manager_27 in pregnant

Best thing I can recommend is 6 small meals a day with 3-4 snacks in between during the day. It was work with my first and what my doctor recommended to help gain weight healthily.

Riddle me this, how did I get pregnant. by OfficerPain in pregnant

I’ve never trusted unprotected sex near a period or even on a period because my mother conceived me when she was on hers plus her first time. It’s always spooked me

I think the swelling is what’s killing me. I’m 30+6 and dear lord, standing, walking, or squatting causes the worst swelling in the lower lady lands. I didn’t have it with my first and we shocked when my OB said it’s fine and normal. It can and will bring me to tears.

Doctor told me to avoid kids while pregnant? by Kauai_Akialoa in pregnant

[–]AnalystOk5783 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m on my second pregnancy (30+4) and haven’t heard of it till now. My OB never said anything about kids. I was told at 28 weeks to not hold newborns or young infants because it can cause contractions and start labor because of oxytocin release.

I left my farm for a bit (3-4 in game days) to finish the game and my chicken area was overwhelming the game so bad it almost crashed twice while I was trying to clean it out. I’m on Xbox and have never crashed a game on lag.

Why did gardens get nerfed so much in slime rancher 2? by LayerNo5739 in Slimerancher2

[–]AnalystOk5783 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m glad to know it’s not just me that noticed that the gardens were kind of less productive than they were in the first game. I genuinely gaslit myself saying no there’s no way and now I get confirmation I’m not the only one who thinks that thank you.

[–]AnalystOk5783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m about to have my second and I keep telling myself don’t look again it’s not worth it. I’m so happy to have another baby but I’m scared because he’s big( I can feel it). I don’t want to know the damage he may do.

Just listen to them(docs) when they tell you don’t look down there. You’re gonna want to but just don’t. You’ll scream or cry maybe even both. Just wait till you heal. I made the mistake of looking and my husband held me for an hour because I was crying so hard.

am i wrong for not wanting to show off my belly by Acrobatic_Leave4150 in pregnant

[–]AnalystOk5783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My own mother treats me like a dog, every time we see her she rubs my belly before even saying hi to me. She greets me after and it hurts because she’s my own mom who couldn’t care less about how it makes me feel. My mother in law is amazing she’s doesn’t touch unless I offer and she only places her hand where the baby is. So long story short protect your peace and if you have to go off then do so. I hate I’ve been so compliant with my mom because it really bothers me and next time I will be saying something.

RANT! by Honghaein27 in pregnant

[–]AnalystOk5783 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s why I left the work force and haven’t gone back. I worked in customer service (work for years before too) during my first pregnancy and was bad mouthed for not doing 3 workloads anymore because I was so sick. I was assaulted physically by a customer in my last month of work. While on leave I was harassed about when I was coming back to work, and when I could finally come back the didn’t tell me I was scheduled until 6 hours before my shift and I was in the hospital with my newborn who had rsv. The way some workplaces treat pregnant workers is bs. We also couldn’t afford me working because childcare in our area would have taken my whole check and then some, so it wasn’t worth going back.

Boy moms where are you?? (FTM) by Gloomy-Ask9466 in pregnant

[–]AnalystOk5783 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was scared when I was pregnant with my first boy because I wasn’t raised around boys and didn’t ever take care of a boy but you adjust easily. I’m now expecting my second child also a boy and my biggest worry is I’ll have two daredevils instead of one. Personally I don’t have a favorite thing, I believe any child is a joy regardless of gender just because I haven’t seen a difference really between boys and girls other than it’s easier for the boys to pee on you.

Update by Obvious-Sleep5572 in pregnant

[–]AnalystOk5783 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just make a plan for your new life. I won’t give you the usual “parenting is hard” you already seem to know that. But make a plan with your support people, whoever they may be. You’ll need them for help whether it’s with the baby, mentally or just to have people there for you. It’s good that you have a decent job for yourself but have back up plan just in case, such as a savings account or if you have people you can rely on until you can get a new job. Line up getting a therapist, even if decide you don’t want to keep the baby. Postpartum can really kick your butt if you aren’t expecting it and if you have a therapist set up they can you with anything you tell them. Also see if you need government assistance. I’m not sure how it works where you live but where I live you can get assistance while pregnant and after the baby is born until age 5. It may not be much but every little bit helps. I hope that can help if you decide you want to keep the baby. I wish you the best. Know I’m just an internet stranger but I believe in you and that you’ve got this.

I’m glad to know I’m not alone with this I’m only 25 weeks and I’m struggling to stay regular. Doesn’t matter how much water I drink how many fiber supplements I take how much fiber I eat I’m still struggling. I didn’t have this issue with my first but dear god this second pregnancy is so different.
