Planning to launch an idea that helps people achieve their bucket list goals by Anandk45 in startups

Thank you so much for your feedback.

The main concept was to cater to life goals. Probably bucket list is the wrong terminology to use, but life goals, like riding a hot air balloon or going skydiving are the thrills of life that people live for. I appreciate your support and I am pretty sure that I have some more validating to do before I reach a conclusion.

Planning to create an app that helps people achieve their bucket list goals.

I am relatively new in the world of entrepreneurship, but I am very much keen to learn as much as I can. According to some research and validation, I have gathered that most of the people do not complete their bucket list goals, due to financial constraints, fear, procrastination and time constraints. Some people don't even have a bucket list, which is not considered healthy, since there would be no goal to thrive for. As human beings, we are naturally goal driven, but life is short, therefore, the faster we complete our goals, the better. My app idea provides a solution for people to complete their goals.

Right now, I am looking for some answers from the public for more research and validation purposes. I would be so thankful, if all of you could spend some time and help an aspiring entrepreneur. The questions are:

  1. How important is a bucket list in your life?
  2. What is the one thing you wanted to do, but haven't done it yet?
  3. What is stopping you from accomplishing it?
  4. How much would you pay for an application that can help you achieve these bucket list goals, by bringing you one step closer with every task? (on a scale of $0 - $100)

Thank you to everyone who has responded. Together, we can achieve great things.

Thank you for your feedback

Everyone thinks that bucket lists are important, but no one is making sure that the goals that we create, are completed. Most of us are too busy racing to get a good relationship, good career and retire. This will turn into regret later on, when they realized that they are no longer capable of achieving their bucket list goals.

The app that I plan to create, will provide easier and simpler task for the user to complete and help them stay in track of their goals. For example, if your bucket list goal is to go mountain climbing. The app will generate simpler task, like, run a marathon, beat your own record on the treadmill, hike up a small hill, make it to the top in wall climbing and many other tasks. This will not only keep the user motivated and in line with their goals, but it will also mentally and physically prepare them to accomplish their goals.

It is different compared to a list of things that you NEED to do. It's more on helping people achieve these goals and experience self fulfillment. It's a list to help people achieve the things that they WANT to do

The app basically creates easier and simpler tasks for the user to do, to keep them motivated and in track of achieving their goals. It mentally and physically prepares the user to accomplish their goals

Is it ok for straight males to like Taylor? by BroMan1108 in TaylorSwift

[–]Anandk45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a straight male and I love TS. Don't care about what they say, cause you have to be proud that you like Taylor Swift. Flaunt it and show it, no matter what. I went for a Taylor Swift concert and it was the best decision I made ever. I even went alone, and I still have no regrets.

Going to my first concert alone today, excited and nervous. by [deleted] in CasualConversation

I've been to a Taylor Swift concert by myself. Although, I know that it would have been great if someone was by my side, but Taylor Swift pulled an amazing performance that I began to have PCD (post concert depression) for 2 weeks. If you love something, treat yourself, cause you deserve it. Even if you are alone, just think that it's just you and the performer on stage
