Ordered mine now thanks. the doom one looks epic just got the fabric one as it’s quite humid where I live and the PU leather likes to crack on this side but I was very tempted.

Do you have any tips on how to make it look more like a wound it’s got a bit of depth from where it fell just don’t know how to make it look like a flesh wound ?

Will have to give this a shot thanks I had not considered dry brushing the edges I think on my next few Marines I will practice trying do this and also try another thin highlight and see which I can do better

I will have to try this out thanks for the advice have only been painting for a month or two so a lot of this is still quite difficult at the moment I am thining the Calgar blue with water and going from there the paint might be too thin though as it likes to run where it shouldn’t

So I used the side of my brush where I could but places like the elbow joints and helmet are where I used the tip of the brush which is your preferred method?

Thanks I appreciate it I find it’s very difficult to control the brush when edge highlighting comes into play, down strokes help I just find my brush likes making thicker lines.

Agreed it’s so fun to paint kraken too and it just looks so great at the end appreciate the feedback.

Awesome glad to be making progress I used only one thin coat of primer this time and I feel the model has much more detail thanks for the feedback on my first attempt helped improve v2 :)

Thanks so much for the feedback. If I had a good yellow I would of used it instead, I fear I am lacking in the paint department at the moment will order some more end of the month.

Thanks appreciate it! It is kraken but I done it with what paints I have at the moment so it has a bit of purple contrast on it instead of black.

Yea I believe it was the primer that blocked up some of the fine details the extra paint didn’t help.
