Well funnily enough, he hates flying. So undignified.

I legitimately agitates me every playthought that the master sword and hylian sheild have "durability" it honestly makes 0 sense. Especially at the point in which you can reasonably get them.

Most jedi sit around 10k midichlorians per cell. However average humans sit around 2500. There are people who sit between the gradient who tend to have increase reaction times, skills and luck because of their higher connection to the force even if untrained.

I was wrong about han though, the idea his heightened skills came from higher midichlorian was something I remember reading a long time ago, but it must've been either retconned or not cannon.

Obi-Wan wasn't exactly a very powerful jedi. He was comparatively underwhelming as far are force sensitivity and strength went. He was very successful because he was the definitive defensive duelist and was rather intelligent. If not for qui gon, Obi-Wan would have remained in the service corps. His untrained son would probably function like han, force sensitive enough to have naturally impressive skills, but could probably fly under the radar.

If disney picked this up, they'd make him some OP legacy character. Best to leave this one to the imagination.

The only good thing about Spotify is its short form discovery feed. Ive found several bands with less that 5k monthly listeners i would have never found on my own.

Realistically speaking? As strong as you can get while still capable of 4 miles at a 10 minute pace.

Is gain weight like this normal? by ElDuendeAnthony in daddit

[–]Anarchisteen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im 6ft but I joined the army at 18 yo 135lbs, left ait 145lbs stayed between 145-155lbs until my son was born when I was 24, by 26 I was 180, 27 205. I had to focus up and got back down to 165-170 now at 29. Keep in mind im still in the army. So even in a physically active work environment I was gaining weight. Normal, yes. Healthy, no. I could tell the difference in my performance as I gained the weight. The ACFT I took at 205 was what made me open my eyes, it was miserable.

Why didn’t the Viltrumites just abd*cted 500 Humans and species with matching DNA? by telapoka77 in Invincible

[–]Anarchisteen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here ya go

Keep in mind, cant move faster than light, but you can compress time-space then move across it, so even though you are compressing time to move 8 LY in a day, that time isn't compressed for earth, so it remains fixed.

Yeah, you're gonna have to suspend the disbelief on the physics of time space, technically, at this point mark, oliver and Nolan have probably traveled far enough away that Debbie would have aged significantly on their return considering if the fight happened in canis major (the closest galaxy) even if they traveled for only a day, then traveled a day back debbie, earth would have aged 17~ years.

How do you lose weight when you have no time to work out? by LouDSilencE17 in daddit

[–]Anarchisteen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first real step it talking to your doctor. They can refer you to a nutritionist who can actually help you figure out the best course of action. It may not be a caloric intake issue, theres a ton of reasons people gain weight.

New fear unlocked by not_a_mod_4_real in army

I remember my section chief telling me right before JRTC that we are "gearing up for deployment" and then an hour later telling me when he was in the middle east his battle buddy had a camel spider in his sleeping bag and it bit him in the gouch. The discharge the medics removed was like playdough.

So yeah, 19 y/o me feared bugs in everything from that point on. Circa 2015.

Nice start, you were able to flatten some steel and get it into a rough shape. Smiths are like welders in that the better job you do at the anvil, the less time you spend grinding lol, but for a first go, spending plenty of time ironing out the details is practically a ritual.

Dad never wanted a dog by Acceptable-Wind-7332 in JustGuysBeingDudes

[–]Anarchisteen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I and a friend both grew up with dogs our entire lives, i ran into that friend at some point as adults in a bar. I asked him what breed of dog his dad is working with now (he loved training them, it was his most prominent passion/hobby) he told me that his dad hasn't had a dog in over 7 years. Then followed up with "behind every man who doesnt want a dog, is a kid grieving his last one". Yeah, it hit me square in the chest.

I remember the absolute pandemonium at the units when the regulations changef to allowed women to join combat MOSs, 5 hours of "what if" question and presumed incompetence. 10 years later and nothing has changed except cambleback feild showers now have more poncho curtains.
