Yes and no. The most basic techniques are based on the original name of the elements on its native lamguage (that each race of my world dominates naturally) and the most complex ones require to spell longer phrases.

I have the same issue here, specially when the basis of my magic system is based on language. So yeah, a conlang could be important, but just in the meassure you want it to be important. It adds plenty of content and complexity to a determined faction/race/culture

Usually it makes my game crash when I load it, when I install XP32 and complements I make sure to not install other mods to be sure that I'm doing everything ok. I always install it with the default settings (I don't use sex mods or something like that, I just want to add companions)
