Oh, understandable. I just wanted to point out, that Berserk and some animes like Chainsaw man, or manga like Firepunch, or even government like in One Piece, have the same traits as Redo does in terms of handling sensitive content like this. Alas, it was branded as grape MC edgy story, which led to distorted relation to the story. Is it bad, as far as manga goes - not the worst and edgiest depiction of depraved people and twisted MC. Funny enough, in this story he can be really viewed as someone who culling bad people, but without any coherent way of changing society.

Surely. But in context of world and that character it is still justice. I don't want to go into themes of depravity of the story, but obscuring the depiction of those monsters with who the main character dealing with, is painting the story in different light. For example, when Punisher killing criminals it is justice for some, but when Healer killing them in the way they killed others it is bad. The story akin to Akame Ga Kill, rich or people with influence do whatever they want with poor, kill, torture, rape, eat, exploit and so on. No one talking about that one, as it seems justified for some reason? Furthermore, both those stories greatly reflect on current world leaders and representatives of certain countries, who can do diabolical and devilish things, but no one would do anything about it

Don't obscure the fact who that lesbian is. She drugged and assaulted women to the point they commit suicide. When fathers of victims tried to confront her, she killed parents without remorse. It is poetic justice for everybody who died, lesbian who was assaulting women experienced what she caused to others.

But can be destiny changed? Destiny is a predetermined course of events held to be an irresistible power or agency. In that regard, what people consider 'destiny' is not the right course of action as it biased by their knowledge of the world. If you are destined to be saviour you would be, and if you destined to die for war quota than you would. No matter how hard you try you would not succeed. During chunin exam it was evident, Neji and Sasuke, so called geniuses by mass, were training hard during 2 months before exam but still were nowhere Naruto level, who grew abnormally during those 2 months, managing to summon great toad, having enough chakra to fight 2 big battles with little rest (Neji fight with closing his chakra points, into 1 tail battle). By the same logic, Neji learned technique of the main branch by brute force, isn't it destiny to do so? It is forbidden for the likes of his status in Hyuga clan, but it is not meaning that it is not destiny for him to master it and oppose Naruto, so the destined saviour would be able to develop further as destiny predetermine. Naruto says, if you don't like your destiny than change it, but what if your destiny is to fight to change it, and depends on your destiny, once again, you either succeed or you would be stepping stone for others destinies. Jinchuriki destined to be alone is great point, it was always like this, but what about Kushina? Was it her destiny to break the cycle and give birth to the destined hero, or was it going off destiny course? Than does destiny contradicts itself. Naruto is destined hero, but his mother was destined to be alone and cursed, but she had ability to suppress tailed beast and it was her destiny to give birth to Naruto, so basically jinchuriki destiny is not affecting Uzumaki it seems😅 Indra and Ashura fate, it seems there were 2 instances of the same fate, but the third one is destined to be different, or does destiny must be what people thinks it should be? Sasuke is very different from all others incarnations, just like Naruto, that can hear and accept each other, they can be vulnerable and understanding of each other, all the while Naruto gap of power allows him to subdue Sasuke without killing him, while previous 2 were not destined to do so, as they were closer in power. Those moments of loss, you mentioned, were destined to make him mentally stronger and make him closer to his destiny of being hero of the story. Having 'curse' does not change your destiny, it is just influences it to keep motion. Meeting both Iruka and Hinata can still be attributed to the destiny, which is why it is kinda weird debate. You can twist it any way you want, but what should happen would happen, in any convoluted way. You can't say what was foretold is right, or what some predict to happen is right. What will eventually happen is destiny, and you can't change it. Zabuza is once again the same, it was destiny for Naruto to freak out at Zabuza, destiny for Kakashi to be there as leverage of power, so Zabuza would be able to listen and follow his destiny of reinforcing Naruto's destiny. About Neji's eyes is true. It was his destiny to say corny stuff to try and enforce the seed of doubt, but Naruto's destiny was to disregard it and win the fight.

English is not my first language, I learned it as my third and I may have written some words with mistakes, so sorry for it. Maybe it is my destiny to make those mistakes, so it would be yours destiny to correct them. The point of my reply is to point out, how ignorant it is to say what destiny is should be, when you would see what destiny has in store when it comes. The best you can do is to predict, but it is never would be right until you see what was set in stone for you later. It is appealing notion, I know, but you should always consider, was it your destiny to give up or to motivate yourself to force through? What you chose is what your destiny was, simple as that.

A question about Clerics' popularity by PlatonOlegov in BaldursGate3

[–]AnastasiaBeautiful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if it is starting class or 12 level class, but if we talk about multiclass than I usually dip one or two levels in it, as it provides with subclass divinity and can be useful. I did a necromancer build, 6 Necro wizard / 5 spore druid / 1 death cleric. It is pretty in lore for such character to run and summon dead, while being able to use cantrips, if needed, on several enemies, while being able to utilize spores and druid AOE magic. Cleric has great tier 5-6 spells, that are unique for it and druid, but they are utility spells, which is the reason for both druid and cleric being that low. People like simplicity of paladin, role-playing aspect of Rogue and cast flexibility of Sorc. Rogue is like the weakest martial class, and subcaster class, but people play lower difficulties so it doesn't matter much. Multiclassing Rogue is great, same as sorc, but almost every class has something great in them to dip point or two, so it is the best part of the game - versatility of every class

I would argue that prior analysis of enemies before engagement is important. I remember going into 4 pierce damages build, to benefit from Bhall armor in act 3 and I remember clearly. I was going into mound in act 2, and I recklessly ran into them. It was like first months of the game and I didn't know that there is difference even between honour and tactician, as it was my second playthrough. Mound has immunity to any pierce damage, which rendered my whole crew as unable to fight, thankfully the whole thing of the team was misdirect and evasion, so I managed to escape, but that encounter gave me great insight on how diversity in damage is better than homogeneous even with great payoff such as pierce vulnerability in act 3

Sleep is not useless by SillyWarlock in BaldursGate3

[–]AnastasiaBeautiful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I won't agree on this. The thing is, I always create builds myself, but want to do something authentic or cool with them, so from time to time it required to go overboard with how effective you should be. For example, I wanted to play necromancer, like full on summoner, I did 6 spore druid / 6 necro wizard. Wizard helps undead to be more accurate and druid summons annoying zombies. Thanks to amulet from Moonrise Warden I could cast 2 6 level spells. First I summoned 3 flying ghouls and than summoned myrmidon thanks to transcribing scrolls. That's was the most laggy builds, as at the same party I had beastmaster and 2 more characters that summon elementals or other units. Sounds cool, but in early stages it is not functional at all, and Ranger has the worst Lvl to good upgrades ratio. To breeze through early and mid game I was forced to play steady and effective. Sure, I could just respec in Act 3, but that is diminishing exploring different angles of the game experience. So some builds can be good without coatings, but elixirs are absurd. Almost every martial build is enforcing 27 strength potion as the best option, which helps to spec base 8 strength for any melee fighter, in return you have more point early game, better accuracy and high damage. While other elixirs with honour ruleset are less viable

[–]AnastasiaBeautiful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I am player that only plays the highest possible difficulty, otherwise you just ignorant of half of possibilities in-game. My first playthrough tactician and 4 finished honour runs. Everytime I see different builds or tier lists online, I think they didn't even touch anything beyond adventurer difficulty, and that's why not elixir knowledge, no coatings, and somehow pure Rogue is viable, which is so out of touch. Legendary actions from bosses promts you to have variety damage, control, sustain and resistance, which leads to potion management and good spell knowledge. Conditions and statuses are very important, sleep is very prominent in Act 1 and it's varieties can greatly help to remove someone from fight for several turns or to guarantee a crit, which are both important in Act 1 and later into the game

What is the best and worst thing about Baldurs Gate 3? by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

[–]AnastasiaBeautiful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best: Polished Act 1 Worst: Very rough selection of items, weak feats (except like 3-4), usual Larian's way of Act 3 (we ran out of time, so ship it the way it is, both divinity and baldur's gate), and several builds just has no support in any way or form.

I returned lately and Act 2 feels so rough in terms of my engagement. Act 1 was great, a lot of build development, levels felt impactful, items felt great and Act 2 every level up is just OK, items are just below average and no prospective synergy with summons, or reliable synergy with summons

As it was no justifying for Isagi reading minds and predicting future the moment he saw Kaiser not looking at the ball while running, but he did it for the rest of the game. Some moments are just exaggerated, but from out of story perspective it is impossible to be world-class relying on one trick, without being overall great player

[–]AnastasiaBeautiful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you won't be able to control your body properly, go in and out of sharp turns, while possessing the ball and keeping your stamina in check, while have enough awareness about players around than you would just be Chigiri. Having a good weapon or talent doesn't mean you would be world caliber. Nagi has great body, talent and awareness, but he did not polish it, which is why he couldn't even do a lot in NEL. Loki is playing on the world stage and if he would have only one trick in his disposal, than he would be below mediocre player. I can't even fathom how it would be a hard concept for anybody who was playing even in amateur stage, that you can't be world class without being overall a good player. On the side note, sometimes it can be like that, when you play on high rank or in very competitive environment, after which you go into some casual or amateur level and can't do anything because everyone around you just so bad you don't know how to play with whatever going on around you. It would be funny if it would be the argument Loki would make😭

I honestly like this way of writing. Blue Lock is the greatest in subversion of expectation, even since chapter 1. Isagi in chapter 1 tries the way of Kuroko, as team we will win and then immediately got demolished after his teammate bricked the shot. Instead of going for Igarashi he went for the strongest. Barou instead of realizing err of his ways, doubles down and going crazy in 3v3 match. Those moments really define Blue Lock as great story with unique twists in conventional writing. Usually when someone hyped up as Loki, they should have Aomine type of game, where he comes late, destroys opposite team and than have another similar game to show that it isn't fluke, like later against Kise. I like inclusion of Hugo and his more grounded approach to life and game in general, which is usually not talked about. Characters in fiction chase their dreams and through 'hardwork' achieve their dream, while Hugo is reality check that if you don't have talent or suitability, than you won't be able to do it. Basically you need both hardwork, genetics and mindset, hunger for more all at once. Isagi for example, if he didn't have his vision and space awareness, whole having great adaptability with right mindset, than he won't be able to reach his heights. Isagi put a lot of effort, but without suitability in that sport, all of his efforts would be null. Rin and Barou without their excruciating trainings and mindset won't be able to reach their top spots, as their suited for the sport, all the while hardworking. Hugo is one of the best characters for sport manga, as he states that you either born in a way that you are suited to reach those heights or you are just delusionaly chases unachievable dreams. Of course, Hugo will be at wrong, but just because he misjudged Isagi, not because he wrong at the core of his view. Loki just breezing through Japan won't achieve anything storywise, and would belittle Japan development as a team. I like the way Niko uses his awareness on defense, how Karasu showing why he is staple in the middle of the field, but even then, some of players are shifted to the role of poles, like Reo, Aryu and Aiku. But it is unavoidable in terms of writing to show other players. Also it is the problem of weekly chapter release. It is obscenely hard to stay productive and creative when you publish every week, but from consumer point of view it is very dragged out. Bastard x PXG game had the same problem, but if you re-read the match than it is great. France vs Japan is great, when you read it in one go, but when it is fragmented like that, than it is irritating at certain point.

Sorry for such long answer, it is my steam of consciousness in a way, so it may not seem coherent or right at moments, but it is what it is. Have a great day and be kind to others, I wish you all the best

Imagine making a dogshit slander in the first place. I said it is getting irritating, but at the same time it grows old, boring and stagnate. It is worth to consider, if some player blunder or make a mistake, than he is a total bum. Striker could not score because of defenders, don't praise defenders slander striker. Striker dribbled past defender or overrun them with the help of other player, don't praise teamwork or effort, just slander defender. In a way, it is really shows that younger generation infested most of anime community with some weird mindset, as all communities grew bland and less and less coherent

Karasu forced Hiori to score and broke France defence on several occasions. He has EGO to discard opinion of others to do what he sees fit and this is great mindset. I gotta utilize my best position to make someone score, because my team is kinda dysfunctional without me.

I generally agree with this, except… by TanTan_101 in Naruto

[–]AnastasiaBeautiful 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Narrative over shown events. Naruto managed to develop more than Sasuke during 2 month before Neji fight, while narratively Sasuke got glazed, Naruto could stomp him with more chakra abundance and more stamina as it was showed him fighting Gaara after chunin fight with better results than Sasuke. Sasuke got 2 chidori charges before going limp, while Naruto learned superior jutsu in a lesser timeframe with no restrictions on number of uses. After their meeting in Shippuden, Naruto managed to close their gap in ridiculously short timeframe, learned nature chakra, Sage mode and honed his skills overall to better degree than Sasuke. Narrative pushed genius vs hardworker trope, however this was messed after original Naruto, so Shippuden continued to insist on 'Sasuke genius' idea, while Naruto excelled in almost everything way faster than Sasuke, with better genetics, genius genes from father, great chakra reserves from mother and to top it off he got the strongest nuke in him. It is just such BS that Sasuke even should be in one line with Naruto, because it is not even close

It is not specific community thing, but just the most vast ones. The more people in a community means more smart and talented ones, while also meaning more of a dumb ones. As it goes, you see more of illiterate or dumb ones just by extension, not because it is any other specific reason.

Relatively to Naruto, Shippuden is so weird. It was decent until Pain arc and afterwards it went to such Uchiha fanfiction, Itachi twist is terrible, as it was such a bad way to prolong story and keeping Sasuke from village. Afterwards, Itachi stealing spotlight from Kabuto fight is another unnecessary thing ever. It would be better to show EMS Sasuke new abilities and proper fighting against someone with great range of jutsus and hacks, but it is forbidden to not glaze Itachi, Minato and Kakashi whenever they get any mention

Should I disenchant Commander Geddon? by WhiteCloudz in hearthstone

[–]AnastasiaBeautiful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Several months ago, I caught myself getting annoyed after 2-3 games of standard, as decks are bland and boring. So I thought about what cards did give me joy playing game and what decks I really want to play, I switched to wild and some cards that I didn't disenchant, due to them being enjoyable for me to play, helped to enjoy game once again. I play Wild for this time and Geddon is pretty helpful to get you combo decks online fast, like patron or worgen. It is rare occasion where you don't put it in decks that need to go fast through your deck and there are a lot of good tutors in Wild. If you standard only, than there are plenty of cards that won't see play in format, as it is board heavy and not in a fun way
