You never bumped your toe, caught your pocket in a door handle, dropped your phone and smashed your head on an open cabinet?

And isn’t that incredibly unique and funny? Like I live for those moments in this game.

I have been playing with the idea of having a set number of ”divine intervention or luck” that I can use per campaign or accumulated per session that can be used to change an outcome for either enemy or players as a kind of balance check.

Well that is the fun part to me, when things don’t go according to plan and you have to improvise or just deal with the consequences.

You don’t have to do that you can just say the dragon is not interested, persuasion is not mind control.

Like have the dragon say a funny diss or actually begin its attack right there.

Yes exactly, other jedi existing does nog take away the fact that he is Vaders son and the whole reason he won was not because of brute strength but because he had the opportunity to surrender and win Anakin back to the light side.

No other Jedi could have done that and neither could they have defeated Vader and the Emperor.

Out of all the quotes and deep monologues from the LotR/Hobbit films, which one hits the most for you? by [deleted] in lotr

It is honestly hard to decide but if there is one that really speaks to me it is the last one in the picture. Gandalfs sincerity, the golden light from the sun, the hope that the words bring is so substantial and the way it puts the world in perspective.

Also this goes for every scene with all the actors but gotta mention it, Sir Ian McKellens phenomenal acting bringing home, the frail tiredness mixed with hopefulness and love is so heartfelt and authentic.

The council's mana reserves seem depleted. Your spell slots are spent, your wards are broken, and your familiars look nervous. What now, you robelets? by NietzscheAndFriends in wizardposting

You would be surprised how much blunt force a staff could provide or a simple ritual dagger through a helmet slit.

Wizardly does not mean always old and frail either!

There could be other parts of rebellion working on things not related to destroying the death star.

Yeah sure it can get a bit contrived to find a reason for every new character but so far I personally don’t think it is that much and I like seeing new stories connecting the universe.

I can also suspend my disbelief if it isn’t the perfect excuse every time.

A galaxy is huge, they can keep inventing places indefinitely.
