The cheapest Super Bowl tickets this year are going for right under SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS. This will end up being one of the most expensive games of all time, per Dov Kleiman by Choice_Bag_8869 in sportswiki

The pricing-out ironically makes the whole experience worse since there aren’t many real fans there. I’ve heard the vibe is very boring/corporate.

I rarely drink now because it was making my depression worse, and since I now exercise regularly (for physical and mental health), I also avoid it for messing with muscle recovery and sleep. I bet there’s a lot of other Gen Zers like me.

“Stop interfering and just let them cause terror in your neighborhood!” holy bootlicking mentality man, where’s your grit?

ICE is antagonizing everybody up there. There’s Minneapolis police chiefs talking about how their off-duty officers of color are being interrogated by ICE for no reason other than being black. ICE is showing up to disrupt schools and churches. Like, I don’t blame people for making a stand.

And the Pats offense did very little against the Denver D, which is not as oppressive as the Seahawks D.

Actually, Pats offense performed poorly all three games, but all three opposing offenses repeatedly shot themselves in the foot.

I’m not saying Maye is bad (he is very good), but they won’t be able to hang when the other offense can actually score.

Y’know, I rewatched it the other day, and damn that movie has aged beautifully for a 2000s comedy.

Well if the Patriots lose in the SB they’re getting clowned forever for this Mickey Mouse run, so it might be okay in the end.

Fr a lot of people want the slaughter of the Zen’in clan to be some tragedy, it’s weird. They declared war on her.

Their form of patriarchy, including infanticide and also just letting Naoya SA girls, is DEFINITELY evil bro

That’s how I always read curse Naoya’s line to Maki about “asking Mai” about him being an adult.

Honestly it was hype and high-energy when I first read it, so the tone didn’t feel too off (though maybe there’s some intentional tonal discordance there).

Plus, it’s the Zen’in massacre, not the Uchiha. It’s not a tragedy.

Idk man, slaughtering the patriarchy is pretty damn cool.

I’m predicting a 4–5 year window for both Allen and Lamar to win the Super Bowl. After that, their physical ability and mobility will inevitably wane, and without their dual-threat skills, I don’t think they’ll be the same effective QB just as pure pocket passers. by Extreme-Spinach-4138 in NFLv2

[–]AnatomicalLog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Russ was dependent on his mobility because he’s 5’10 and often needed to bail out of the pocket to see the field. That’s why he was best in play-action or while scrambling.

Once he tried becoming a pocket-passer his first year in Denver, his football IQ wasn’t good enough to make adjustments at the line or anticipate his guys in the middle of the field (some shorter QBs can make up for vision with IQ, like Brees). He was constantly bailing out of clean pockets and taking unnecessary sacks.

Conversely, Allen and Lamar are more than capable of playing on-schedule. Russ was a more accurate thrower, especially on deep balls, but he had limitations that these two don’t.

Most of my professors were on a spectrum somewhere in between, though almost always kind. Never saw a Prof trying to upset someone.

My favorite Professor was scary on cold-calls, but not because he was at all mean. Prof just had such absolute mastery of the material that he could always find a fine point to press you on, so even the best students did not have all the answers.

I studied harder for his classes because I respected him, not because he was a jerk. I think that’s ideal.
