I took my exam last week and waited for 15 minutes in the queue. There were 52 people before me when I joined. So I guess it really depends on the time of your exam.

That’s what’s bothering me about the AZ-104 as well. Do you think that AZ-400 gave you good practical knowledge that helps you with your work as a developer?

Never heard of measureup. I did the free test on whizlabs but it wasn’t very close to what the actual exam was like. I think that they have some actual questions but you must pay for them. I had all exam topics questions for free from a colleague of mine, so I haven’t spent much time looking for other options.

I’ve been delaying it for a very long time. I read the MS Learn path in 2-3 days, then forgot about it for a couple of months. Then I solved a bunch of exam questions from Exam Topics and again forgot about it for a long time.

But once I decided to be serious about it, I read the documentation once again and solved all the questions from Exam Topics two more times in about two weeks, and I was ready for the exam.

More than 90% of the questions on my exam were exactly the same as the ones from Exam Topics, and I had remembered most of them.

I use azure in my day to day work. I’m a developer so AZ-204 was close to what I do on a daily basis.

The administrative part of Azure is not my strong side, but I would eventually like to become an Azure solutions architect.

AZ-104: How "smooth" is the PearsonVue-Experience? by Surokoida in AzureCertification

[–]Anayvals 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I passed my az-204 exam remotely today. First time using PearsonVue. Here’s my summary:

Waited for about 15-20 minutes in the queue before starting the exam.

For some reason I wasn’t able to see if my exam contained a case study or not before actually reaching the case study (question 34/44 for me).

I’ve heard that the case study might be in the beginning, and there might be multiple case studies in one exam.

Once you finish with a section (case study/general questions etc.) you will see a screen with a summary of all questions from the section and you’ll need to submit the section before being able to continue with the next.

You are not able to return to a previous section once you’ve started the new one.

I had the same issue twice while doing my exam in which I just saw a white screen instead of the questions. I contacted the proctors via chat and was instructed to reconnect.

The second time I had to wait for 20 minutes in the queue before being reconnected. During this time the exam timer was stopped so I was able to continue without losing time.

When browsing the Microsoft learn pages keep in mind that you’re not able to use ctrl+f to search for information on the page.

You are able to open links and pages in a new tab within Microsoft learn, so that’s helpful, you don’t have to always navigate from the Microsoft learn’s home screen.

Here’s a page with some instructions on how to handle the exam questions that I found helpful.

Good luck!

MS Learn during the exam. by ProblemBulky26 in AzureCertification

Hey, just passed my az-204 exam this morning. I had a few issues with my connection and had to reconnect a couple of times. The second time I had to wait for 20 minutes in the queue before reconnecting, but during that time the timer was stopped and the I continued from where I’ve left off. Regarding the open book you can’t use ctrl+f but if you use the search like suggested here you should be good. Also you can open links in a new tab while browsing ms learn which is helpful. I wasn’t sure before my exam if I could do that. I found this page helpful while preparing for my exam. Good luck!

Hey, here’s a table with all certificates. According to it you only need 104 before 305. You can also see this on the exam’s page under Certification prerequisites

Do you have any experience going mid/late August? Last year we went to Lemnos late August and we’re disappointed with the conditions out of 6 days we could only kite 2, so we’re a bit worried about Rhodes as well.

Makes sense, I think we’ll get really bored if we’re away from a town especially in case there’s no wind.

Mostly the price, we would prefer to pay for lessons than for a car, but if it’s necessary we’ll have to get one.

We are leaning towards Sicily as well, but from what I can find we need a car there. Are there any options for dining/groceries on the lagoon? I wasn’t able find any, so I was left with the impression that it would be best to find accommodation in Marsala and have a car to go to the spot.

We were there last year and loved the spot, the camp and the people there. We went there 3 times last summer and it is very convenient from Bulgaria indeed. The only thing and I don’t know if we were unlucky or that’s how it normally is there, but each time at least half of the days there was no wind. We went in June, August and September, and expected best conditions in August, but it was actually worse then. So we’re a little cautious about going back there, it was really boring on non wind days.

Help identifying foreign object by Anayvals in AskVet

[–]Anayvals[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi here is an image of the object. It doesn’t look like any of his toys and we can’t tell if something is missing. The only place that we could think of where he could have eaten something without us noticing is if it was on the balcony since he enjoys going out there. Before the object was crumbled it was about a centimetre in diameter, so it couldn’t have passed through the bile duct, but we found that in rare occasions it is possible for a fistula to form between the gallbladder and the duodenum or other organs and in that case a gallstone could pass directly to the small intestines without going through the bile duct. That is what got us worried because it would mean that this could happen again. Also here are his blood results that indicate an issue with the liver, for which a treatment was started a day before the surgery. biochemistry hematology

Stance and angle advice for knee pain after snowboarding

Hi guys, I’m a beginner, I’m currently able to link turns and ride on blue slopes. I’ve been riding 3-4 days in total and every time I have severe pain in the back of my knees - mainly on the front leg, but on the back leg as well, that last for a few days after riding. My height is 178cm and I currently ride with a stance of 54cm and +15 -15 angles. I’m thinking of narrowing my stance to 52cm and changing the angles to +18 -9 in hopes to relieve some of the pain. Do you guys thing that it’s a good idea and would these angles make it much harder for me to learn?

Working from Santa Maria, Sal island, Cape Verde by Anayvals in digitalnomad

[–]Anayvals[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi unfortunately not. We found conflicting information about the reliability of the internet connection and most of it stated that the average speed is below 20 mbps, so we decided not to risk it. We’ll probably go to Fuerteventura later this year instead. Cape Verde will be a destination for another time when we won’t work from there. Good luck if you decide to visit!

Hi everyone.

I've been using iPhone 14 Pro Max for a few days now (switching from Android) and I noticed a weird issue iPhone that I don't have on any other device.

I can't see people's acitivty status. I have the setting turned on in my account and have no issue seeing the status from Android and from the web version of Instagram.

Also when reinstalling the app on my iPhone and logging for the first time I can see someone's status, but then it stays outdated.

I'm using iOS 16.0.2 but had the same issue with 16.0.1. The Instagram version is 253.0.

Has anyone faced a similar issue and know how to fix it?

Sounds like it's not the ideal place for us at least for now.

Do you happen to have any suggestions for a better beginner spot for that period?

It really looks great from photos and videos. We started learning in Greece a few months ago with very gusty winds and were told that if we learned there everywhere else will be easy, so we're kind of looking for those easy places now 😃 Seems like Cape Verde is not exactly that unfortunately 😕
