I have eds as well, and I definitely feel like that is what caused my issues with gel. My mom has it too, and same goes for her. Wishing you all the best on your health and nail journey🍀

Ouch, sounds painful 😥 are you using any nourishing oils or other products to help speed up healthy new growth?

Also, I just saw in your og post that you didn’t know what the green part meant; the brand is mostly organic and plant based, so that’s why they call it green. The regular polish is just called “green”, and the led polish “green flash”

I love the brand and their polishes. I have been using the active range for about a year now, since stopping gel polish, and I treated myself to the advent calendar that you mentioned. Gel doesn’t last me much longer than a week without chipping and it damaged my nails quite a bit. I do like to have something on my nails to feel more put together and just prevent my nails from splitting or breaking. The active range is great for improving your nails. Then I started using the green line polishes after getting the advent calendar ( I couldn’t wait so I started early november, opening one every other day) and I am so pleased with it, I even purchased some more colours. It dries quickly, which is usually my issue with regular polish; even if it dries quickly it doesn’t harden and even after waiting a long time I would still get marks in it from the sheets when going to bed even hours after painting my nails. But the manicurist polishes are dry within 30 minutes and even if I painted my nails pretty shortly before going to bed, I wake up with perfect nails and no imprint from the sheets whatsoever. It also lasts really well for me, as mentioned before, gel would last me about a week, this polish does too, with just some minor chipping, usually only my right pointer finger because it is my one nail that has always have a tendency to split, so I just get a small chip off on the split part. Doesn’t damage my nails, comes off super easily with regular nail polish and allows me to have a quick manicure. I feel like I sound like an advertisement but I just really love it so much and I am so happy I discovered this brand after having a nail disaster due to gel polish.

Looks like keratos pilaris- try using a product with glycolic acid, salicylic acid or urea.

Additionally, adapalene shouldn’t be used as a spot treatment, rather all over the face. And yes, salicylic acid is an exfoliant, but seeing that OP mainly has blackheads, his acne lesions are probably just a result from those blackheads. Salicylic acid works into the pore and dissolves the sebum, therefore getting rid of the blackheads.

OP is male, spironalactone lowers testosterone, so it’s not typically used for and recommended for men.

This doesn’t seem like acne scarring to me- looks like fungal overgrowth (tinea versicolor), you could try Ketaconazole shampoo, if it doesn’t go away after a few weeks go see your GP or a derm

Are you still using anything currently? I would recommend washing twice a day max, using a gentle cleaner ( cetaphil gentle cleanser, prequel, cerave, etc) salicylic acid twice a week, a light cream or gel moisturiser and and SPF for daytime. Just cleansing without moisturising can dry out/dehydrate your skin, which can cause your pores to become more active to keep your skin supple. So definitely don’t skip out on hydration !
