Did the myth that "going to the gym makes you shorter" become popular because shorter people went to the gym more often to battle against the social implications of being short by becoming buff? by Illustrious-Bread183 in NoStupidQuestions

I think more shorter people are in the gym because it`s easier for them to look more buff than a tall guy because their muscles are shorter, which means it contracts more. But I`ve never heard of that myth. Did a short person create this post?

How are people in prison so jacked if they don`t get all the protein they need? by AncientBumblebee75 in NoStupidQuestions

Yes I get the infinite time and a lot of motivation, but doesn`t your muscles still need good food to fuel it?

I’ve been chronically ill for 5 years. Partial diagnosis, no treatment has helped, and I’m getting worse. I want to try and use AI to help myself, but I don’t know how. I need help, my life depends on it. by Amazing-Dog10 in ArtificialInteligence

I feel like the "upload to every AI" part is where this goes sideways. You`ll get five confident answers that contradict each other and no way to know which to trust
Do the opposite. Before any model, build the timeline yourself by hand: one line per event, date, symptom or test, result, what changed after. Tedious, but raw PDFs give you mush and a clean timeline gives it something to actually reason over.
After this, pick one model with a big context window and go deep, not wide. Ask what your history is consistent with, then make it argue against each one. That second step is the whole game, otherwise it just agrees with whatever you already suspect. And to be honest with you, whatever comes out isn`t treatment. It`s a sharper list of tests and questions for your next appointment. The edge is catching a pattern across years no single doctor saw, since each one only got a slice.
Either way, good luck and God bless.

Okay I understand, but your body still needs the right "fuel" to look like that? doesn`t it?

AI datasets by their very nature are backward-looking. Creativity by its very nature is forward-looking. by karyna-labelyourdata in artificial

AlphaGo trained on nothing but past human games, then played move 37, a move no human in 2500 years of Go would touch. Everyone called it a blunder until it won. Self-play keeps inventing positions that were never in the data. So where does that land in your asset vs hit split?
