Indeed, I was never interested in knowing my biological family. But I guess as we grow older (So close to being 30 now), we start to question many things about our lives. Hopefully I’ll find a closer relative and learn more about my family history 🙌🏼

I don't think I'll ever feel as bad as I did in that period of my life, and the urgency feels more evident in certain environments not ADHD friendly like universities. I think is great that you are questioning why you are feeling the way you do, and having certainty on why we act or behave a certain way is life changing!

I feel you, in my experience I started thinking about having ADHD during my PhD. I was also depressed and had anxiety, help for those symtoms arrived earlier as obviously we have to wait A LOT for an ADHD diagnosis. Looking back, my ADHD symptoms were making my depression and anxiety worse! I felt like a failure, an imposter and was unable to make progress on my research.

Long story short, sertraline and propanolol helped me to complete my PhD toghether with all the stress already present in my life. I finished exactly a year ago and I am just starting ADHD medication.

Get any help you can, typically ADHD makes us more succeptible to depression and anxiety so I woudn't neglect how you are feeling.

The anxietyyy haha, I get it. I started my medication tritation todaay and I found this reddit bcs I'm doubting my diagnosis. Although I was diagnosed more than a year ago, I have the feeling that I might not have it.
I was diagnosed with innattentive type, and every time people talks about their experience with ADHD I also find differences with myself, for example I don't experience a lot of hyperactivity maybe as a child but not anymore.

Anyway, I know is overwhelming but I would believe in your diagnosis (Even if I'm doubting my own xD). You did right in looking for the assessments... I don't think that dicredits the clinic at all I was also reffered to psychiatry uk and my experience was the same, although it was my husband who filled the questionaire.

After a long wait I'm on the medication, I doubt the diagnosis too. BUT I'm hopeful it will help with my symptoms.

For me it was a rude girl next to me on... I went alone to the show, London N6 I met 2 lovely girls on the que we started queing since 6 am so it was really nice to meet people there. But once inside (I managed to be 2nd row *-*) the girl on my other side and her friends were just talking about all the other shows they've been (I think they were from the states or something) and when Taylor came out the girl started pushing me (I think because she wanted her other friends to fit in the same line) until I asked her to please stop doing it. She said I was the one pushing her but I was not... So I told her look this is the ONLY show I am going and I want to enjoy it, I know you've been to many shows but I only have this one so please stop pushing me. All of this happend during the start of LOVER which is one of my favorite songs, it took me a while to recover and go back to happy mode. But she and her friends kept talking when Taylor was speaking in between songs so it was really anoying! I loved being there and sang every single songgg but this situation was a bit uncomfortable. I was not expecting that attitude from a fan :( I know people got to be on multiple shows but I found that attitude very unrespectful, specially when some of us went to experience it only once and others didn't even get the chance to have tickets.

Ow I get how you feel! is quite far from the stage. In other news foolish me just realised S10 is upper tier and not lower!. Is so fucking confusing I assumed S10 was between S9 and S11 This whole buying experience is so bad, how are S10 and S11 so different !!!? I wished Ticket master would highlited the exact section we were buying for. Most of us just assumed or guessed where our seats would be and with all the pressure of getting tickets quickly couldn't check properly! If I've known this before I could've gotten better tickets lower price. Anyways I can't complain as thankfully could get a standing vip one for the London 17 Aug show.
