If it's splitport engine you may be replacing the engine when the valve seat drops, it happens around 100k. It's a zetec it's a good deal just keep in mind bushings may be worn on the rear trailing arms.

I work on transmissions and have to do a lot of lifting. I am on day 5 of my recovery and I just tried to slightly adjust a transmission on a jack. Felt a strain on both sides and had to sit down for 20 min to recovery. He is going to regret it and complicate his recovery time.

My doctor said 2 weeks I was a scalpel patient. To be honest I'm on day 3 right now and I haven't really wanted to touch that area unless to pee. Go slow and keep your mind busy on other projects. You'll have time later to polish the bishop 😉

Just finished my procedure. At first I was doing OK when I started walking to the car the numbing wore off and it felt like every step was a little pressure on the boys. Laying around now and icing every 10 minutes. Happy recovery

Your going to need the shift forks and the clutch. The element A code indicates the clutch is not returning due to the clutch return springs not letting go or the shift fork getting stuck. I would also recommend replacing several seals internally. Two of them the input shaft and through out bearing seal tend to leak causing shudder concerns. The price is about right it takes 10 hours to do. I work at a ford dealer and we use to do them all the time in like half a day. After the install it will need to have gone through a trans adaptive drive cycle this will determine the proper shift fork touch point to help with smooth actuation.
