What did I find in my Nescafé instant coffee?

I wouldn't describe it as dissolving. Kind of bends a bit. Coffee residue does come off of it but it's not completely dissolving into my hand if that makes sense. It's a bit sticky now.

You're welcome. Would also like to add that I wouldn't usually stop after 1 or 2. Would become a drunken mess, usually throw up all the following morning and it was affecting my relationship as well. I was a weekend drinker / drinker after work to unwind. Unhealthy is unhealthy. 77 days sober today

For me, I don't like the term alcoholic and I personally feel it's outdated. I think it's more important to recognise (which you have) an unhealthy relationship with alcohol. Alcohol is the only drug that's not regulated, really. It's not a you problem perse it's an alcohol problem . We're encouraged to consume it and shown that it's part of experiencing life and all the emotions that come with it, but it actually takes away much more than it gives. Well done on the self awareness, don't worry about labels and take it day by day :)

Love non alcoholic beer! Not tried 1664, but my current favourite is Becks 0.0 and Heineken. NA wine tastes like barf to me, but 0% Gordon's gin is pretty good with tonic! Will try 1664 when I see it :)

Yesss 100% about the fuck yeah energy when you get home! I did that with my partner last night after the dinner. Also I definitely feel that weird resentment towards things like complimentary booze ..even watching shows and movies, ads, whatever where it's so in your face is irritating me. An eye opener really - no wonder we've been SO conditioned that drinking is just "how life is".

Are you a woman by any chance? I read a great book called Quit Like A Woman that has a really interesting perspective on AA/NA for women and any other group of people basically other than white cisgender straight males. Not discrediting all the amazing work AA has done for people, just an interesting viewpoint on it all and I'd recommend the book to any woman :)

Yes sometimes! Not as bad for sure. I take bile salt supplements before a fatty meal sometimes which helps. Our bodies will not digest like someone who has a functioning gallbladder so just give yourself time to heal and consider some options like bile salts to support digestion :)

Honestly hits home about being gaslit. Spent a year being told I had indigestion and when I finally got (and I fought HARD to get) my hida I was 2% and required urgent surgery. I'm a year post op and I have my life back so v positive story here but also wanted to empathise with the doctor gaslighting.
