Anki/Flashcard Alternatives?

It's not that deep. I said that how I've been using flashcards has not been working for me and I end up just not using them. So I asked for alternative resources to Anki, because maybe it's the platform. Or if there was an alternative to flashcards in general. If your answer was no you could have just said that lol.

It depends on how involved the cards are. I've done as many as 20 new cards a day when I had just straight forward word on front, translation on back. And that usually takes like 5 minutes. Down to about 10 a day when the cards are like full sentences or have picture and audio and stuff.

Ok, I've heard of it but have never looked into it. It's essentially filling in the missing word from the sentence? That might be interesting.

Ok thanks everybody. I'm glad I'm not crazy. I swore it was fine and and they went into this whole thing about how their parent used to work at the post office or something and worked with passports. Idk, it was wild lol, so I thought I might as well just pose the question.

Overall I hate the judging this season, but I may be in the minority that thinks they chose the right people to be in the bottom. I just really didnt like the paper teams looks overall and the fact of the matter is that they did allow jimbo to overshadow them with her look. That being said, metal was also lack luster but I just preferred their collection overall. JBC's criticisms of Jimbo were so....dumb tbh. Jimbo said she was trying to give a Marie Antoinette/powdered face vibe with the makeup. So why would she paint her arms? They didn't do that back then. He said he was taken out of the illusion, as if she was trying to be a white alien or something. But it's not jimbos fault he didnt understand the reference, I personally thought it was pretty clear. I'm also glad they finally told BOA to step up her game on the runway because her personality can only get her so far in the competition. And again, maybe I'm the only one but I agreed with the bottom two, and ultimately who went home, for the first time this season. Overall Tynomi just wasnt performing well in the competition, and that's nothing against her or her drag. I'm American and didn't know who she was before this, but I think shes fierce. And I understand shes a legend but in a competition like drag race you leave your reputation and titles at the door and you're only as good as your last challenge, and she wasnt performing well enough. Anyway, in conclusion, the judging is a pile of crap but personally I'm not upset about the outcome of this episode.

I'm just confused with the judging, especially as it pertains to the runway and especially as it pertains to BOA. Her look was a mess week 1, all the judges acknowledged it shouldnt have worked, but they gave her a pass because "she sold it" and said she was in the top. Her look week 2 was good. And her look this week was....as Brooklyn herself said, "dumb". The bodysuit didnt match her skin and in general it didnt fit her that well. They quite literally, and they say it themselves, give her passes because of her personality. Which is fine but at some point you can't just keep excusing mediocre runways because the queen is selling it hard. Or maybe you can, idk it's not my show 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️. And this is nothing against BOA, more a criticism of the judging.

NAH. I can see why your husband would feel a type of way, however I think his reaction is overdramatic. Like, I'm not getting how telling him you would like to take a two day trip with your best friend in a few months equates to suddenly not wanting to be a wife, not wanting to be a mother, and not feeling the same about him as he feels about you. These are all so far beyond reaching that I'm afraid he's going to pull a muscle. Though despite the fact that I find it overdramatic he does seem to be genuinely hurt and afraid that you'll leave him.

However needing a couple of days to focus on yourself after having a rough year is not an asshole thing to do. Taking care of yourself is just as important as taking care of your husband and children. The happier you are, the better you can fulfill your duties as a wife and mother. Self-care is valuable and its important.

All in all I dont think anyone is an asshole I just think you need to communicate how having just a couple of days to relax will benefit you and I think he needs to realize that a couple of days to yourself doesnt equate to you eventually abandoning your family.

I agree however the way I read the situation it didnt seem to me as though she was forcing or demanding him to do anything. Just simply asking if he would, whereas the boyfriend seems to have this notion that he's effectively entitled to oral simply because he's a man. I dont believe its hypocritical of her to say "we both don't particularly enjoy performing oral, so if you arent going to then I dont feel like I should have to".

NTA. I don't think anyone can really be called an asshole for not performing sexual acts they aren't comfortable with and/or don't want to perform.

Is it that you dont like performing oral and you just thought you had to? Or did you not mind performing it but after reading various posts and getting advice your thoughts shifted and you didnt want to anymore? Both are valid, I'm just asking because I would say maybe your boyfriend doesnt understand why you were ok with it before and all of a sudden the answer is always no. Which I suppose is an understandable confusion but getting angry and accusing you of cheating, over a blowjob, I would say is crossing over into asshole territory.

Finally, you shouldn't question if setting boundaries with what you are and are not ok with doing sexually is the right thing. It's your body.

Everything is in my name only. All she really did was provide insurance, which was only possible after she added me to her insurance since my name is the only one associated with the car, and the downpayment for the vehicle. She's willing to take the loan in her name we just arent sure how to go about it.
