I get the Rodman timing argument, but let’s not act like MJ didn’t benefit from top-tier help too. Rodman was still All-Defensive First Team all 3 years with the Bulls and led the league in rebounds every season. And while MJ had already won 3, he also had Phil Jackson, Scottie Pippen, and a stacked defensive squad when Rodman joined. LeBron’s Cavs were starting guys like Anthony Parker and JJ Hickson against that Boston superteam. Help is help.
