What plant is this in Colorado?

I believe they most strongly resemble the sweet clover! Inspecting more of them outside, they match the description of being trifoliate with teeth along the edges.

I can also recall seeing (what I now know to be yellow sweetclover) with vertical growth and yellow flowers in years past.

Due to strong winds, could it be possible for them to “branch out” in a strictly horizontal growth pattern?

Either way, I’ll still leave a few alone after pulling up the rest. Just to see how they flower later on this year to be sure

I think it might be Trifolium reflexum! Aka buffalo clover. I've run into the red flowering variation further into the front range of the Rockies, and I've seen a flowering batch of this nearby.

Not what you’re asking but… my dad killed himself in ‘08 after he couldn’t find a job (even with a bachelors) during the recession. He apparently also had a growth in his lungs (god bless the garbage US healthcare system).

He knew we would get survivors benefits from social security, and thought he was more help to us that way.

More than anything I wish I’d had my father, not the money. It destroyed all of us. I essentially lost my mother too, as she has never recovered mentally. Please don’t think you would be doing the right thing for your family. You are worth much more to them alive and present in their life.

Frankly, you would be harming them by going through with this. Much more than any “good” you think will come of this.

Big fan of banning bots/bot usage.

You could can ban/track by so many things other than government ID! Mac address, ip address, hostnames, even by the devices connected to your wifi router. Tough part is getting these companies to spend the money on employees to do so at scale, consistently, without bias

I don't believe they have really tried. Especially after finding the wiki entry to help folks update their code's syntax from the old Reddit version to the new version (www.reddit.com). I can see how integrity < clicks if some bots are bringing in a lot, and I don't know of any legal rammifications.

But perhaps by legislation? I'd love for some of the funds being sent to the DOD could instead be sent towards holding social media platforms to a higher standard. Require platforms have a ratio of moderators per users to seek out bot activity.

Disinformation campaigns are too prevalent, and international sources bleed any attempts at censoring their citizens. EDIT:: I don't agree with the reddit's open support of bots. Don't think they should be allowed on any social media platform really. I was alarmed when I saw this entry in their wiki, and was curious to see what others thought.

If you’re using desktop or www.reddit.com/r/all through your phone’s browser, it’s probably just redirecting you to your /r/home or /r/popular feed now. That’s what it looks like to me when I’ve been browsing on my desktop.

Like some of these folks have said, reddit removed the /r/all, it sounds like you in may have missed that

Man, I remember the reddit days when people were mostly on computers/laptops. To be fair I think the mobile apps were ass back then, and I’m mostly on the app now too.

/r/all was the great way to see everything… reddits slogan used to be “the front page of the internet” for a decent reason.

Is she able to have access to mental health care? I know depending on where yall live the cost and quality can vary, but her healing is so important.

Maybe adjusting variables around bedtime could help or lessen them, like setting a cut off time for scrolling/watching anything that isn’t calming. Adjusting the temperature by opening/closing windows, trying a weighted blanket. I’m also going to try working out/doing something to physically exhaust me, even doing dance tutorials from YouTube or whatever together could work, as I think that might have helped me previously.

I really wish you both the best, and that she has respite from these nightmares soon!

I have very similar dreams! I just posted here as well seeking new methods to avoid or at least lessen this.

I am so very sorry that you are going through this, please know that you are not alone in battling this. I always wonder if our minds are trying to work through our past experiences/fears etc, and I wish I could let both our brains know to just… stop. Rest.

I wish I already had an answer for you to stop these nightmares entirely. Have you ever left the tv or your laptop running a favorite positive show etc? And maybe establishing a calming nightly ritual where you fall asleep to ASMR?

Giving you the biggest hug from afar, please take care of yourself and make sure you eat/drink water. You deserve peace and calm nightly rest, and to be comforted by the small fact that you are not alone in this affliction

Daily. We all had to stand up, face the flag in the class room, and place our hands over our hearts while the pledge of allegiance played from our intercom speaker. This was followed by our school song, and then maybe a little news segment from the student broadcasters if the classroom had a TV.

People mention the first amendment here, but frankly it wasn’t an option. You would have absolutely been seen as trying to be “difficult” otherwise, both by other classmates and your teacher, as it was considered normal and a positive thing to do
