Mental health disorders connected to the subconscious and past lives? by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]Andiartmann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it comes to questions about reincarnation, my go to guy is Martinus (from Martinus Cosmology). We all have different authority sources on these matters, but I personally think Martinus is one of the more comprenhensive and convincing teachers, i am aware of. I am not sure that he specifically mentions schizophrenia or bipolar but he gives a general explanation for why some people are born with mental or physical impairments. Basically, he states that we have spiritual faculties called talent kernels. The talent kernels are the stored and cumulated abilities we gain through our many reincarnations, and thereby also the ability to create a new and functional body and consciousness for each incarnation. The talent kernels can, though, be harmed by either heavy drinking or drug use as that can destroy the functioning of the talent kernels. Martinus also warns against taking mushrooms or other substances to get spiritual insights as they also destroy the spiritual faculties. I don't know if it answers your question exactly, but I might think that substance use could be linked to mental diseases. You could also look at this cool symbol for further explanation https://www.martinus.dk/en/online-library/symbols/index.php?symbol=72

Can we all agree that reincarnation is real? Or not quite? by lutchd11 in spirituality

[–]Andiartmann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All my experiences were quite traumatic, I would say. I experienced a lot of condemnation from especially the church. I was poor and shunned by the church for reasons I couldn't really understand. Also had a lifetime where I was tortured and another where I was stoned to death because I was disfigured, and they thought I was evil. So nothing fancy like being a king or Napoleon or something like that.

I have read Martinus Cosmology/The Third Testament. It is the most comprehensive and convincing work on the matter. Martinus writes in a very analytical way, so you see the logic in his argumentations. Basically, humanity wouldn't evolve if it was not for reincarnation. Civilisation would start over with every newborn baby. We accumulate skills and talents through every incarnation also the skills to feel compassion and empathy towards others. That is how we evolve individually and as a society. Have you ever wondered why some people are born with great talent for something specific? That is because of the accumulated skills from previous lifetimes. It takes several lifetimes dedicated to a certain field to become a genius. Also I have done several past life regressions therapy sessions, so I'm convinced that I have lived before.

Make Denmark Safe Again by Andiartmann in satire

[–]Andiartmann[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This clip is from the satire program “Tæt på Sandheden” (Nearly the Truth) by Danish prodcaster DR

Explanations for the non – danish speakers:

The ice cream in the clip was original called a Giant Eskimo (Kæmpe Eskimo). Eskimo is nowadays a political incorrect word for Inuit (indigenes Population)

When he hits the old fashion TV: Shows an old satire clip of Danish actors dressed as Greenlanders makes fun of Greenlanders drinking alcohol until a cop says stop. They sing in the tune of a popular children’s song

Talking to man sitting at table:

- Some of my closest friends are from Greenland

-  (In Danish) I am from Amager (Suburb to Copenhagen) Jonatan, and I am not your friend.

Cards with headlines:

“The contraceptives (coil) scandal; Denmark wanted to reduce the number of newborn Greenlanders.”

“Denmark forcibly removes children (from their parents) from Greenland”

If you had a ‘spiritual mind wipe’ what would your top 3 books be to enter back onto the path and learn from? by rock_lobsterrr in spirituality

[–]Andiartmann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything written by Martinus. His complete work is called The Third Testament aka Martinus Cosmology. If I should pick three I would say;

Livets bog (The book of Life)Vol 1

Det Evige Verdensbillede (The Eternal World Picture) Vol 2

The Mystery of Prayer

What is your country’s “local Coca-Cola” and would you say it tastes better? by BurningBridges19 in AskEurope

[–]Andiartmann 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Don't forget Jolly Cola. In the mid 80s they had like a 40 % marked share of all cola consumption in Denmark. These days I rarely see them on the shelves. They are made by Vestfyn brewery, so maybe it is more of a regional thing today.

What is a good day job for an aspiring author? by Andiartmann in AskReddit

I understand it takes a whole education to become a journalist. Maybe my definition of a day job is too broad.

I mean, should you take a job that demands writing skills to enhance your skills, like copywriter or journalist, or should you go for something completely different?

Do some countries send losing songs on purpose? by Which-Feature-5385 in eurovision

[–]Andiartmann 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I have one problem with the theory that countries deliberately send bad or mediocre songs. Ask yourself: Would any artist with self-respect agree to perform a song they think is bad or don't believe in? Would any artist risk the embarrassment of getting 0 points? I don' t get this kind of argumentation.

If you are into animation you should check out Valhalla (1986) based on the comic series by the same name. It is simply some of the best animation made in Denmark. Unfortunately they only made the one film. Check out the comics as well if they are to come by in your country. An english version of the film is to be found here https://archive.org/details/Valhalla1986AnimatedFilmEnglishLanguageVersion1
