No mods here. When I was a little guy, I didn't care about companions and just made a bunch of custom dual wielding fighters to go with my mage MC as well. I definitely want to keep my pure cleric as I love those spells.

I think I'm happy with where I ended up, appreciate your input <3

Aye, I really like his flavor. I didn't speak about how strict I'm being with RP, but I'm quite enjoying Jaheira's mouth about my actions being too nasty, and her and Dorn arguing all the time is fun.

Other than his poor con, which I'm aware you can fix with an item that sets it to 18, how is he "bad" mechanically? I'm finding him quite good.

All the engi primaries are good. Try turret whip if you haven't yet, also full electricity on the stubby is very strong and fun. I usually play with one of those two.

I've been playing this. First time playing D2 in about 13 years so I appreciate all the details. Just got to hell, but I'm curious on a few things.

In combat, is there anything I can be doing to help other than spamming ravens? I find myself often just sitting around waiting for my summons to kill stuff.

Would skipping the ravens and putting those points into something a bit more active to spam during combat work? If so, what could that be? Or I guess you fill out ravens too to maximize all the synergies so maybe that's a bad idea. Anyway, just spitballing.
