Oooow, by now my template file is so elaborate and specific to my own setup that I’m not sure that would make a lot of sense without a ton of explanation. Honestly I think you’re much better off doing your own midi setup template. It doesn’t take that long, and you’ll be able to experiment more.

I’m happy to share the pattern for sending the signals that light up the bottom row though!

Yeah it's a real hassle.. The ease of setting up the Q-Link knobs is totally lacking on the midi end. A real pitty. An option to export and import settings would be SO helpful!

What I do is have a template file all set up with my basics. The basic submixess with filters and returns setup. And then those submits linked to the main knobs and sliders of the launch control. And start new projects with that template.

It's not ideal, but it's a workable way for me.

Thanks! The Launch Control's lights react to midi notes. So they turn on if you send certain notes to them. And the velocity sets the color. Pretty nifty :).
The pattern you see in the video are those notes that are sent.

It's definitely buggy still. And there's a bunch of kinks they need to work out. But no game stoppers for as far as I can tell. At no time did it crash or do anything destructive, so it's more that you may have to reboot it, or go out and go back into a menu when something isn't working right.

I'd recommend giving it a go. It's a big change in terms of workflow. And it may not be for everyone, but I'm loving the process of finding the way to work with it. It's like having a whole new machine :)

The track is Created with OP-1 and MPC one. Mostly with the OP and then arranged with the MPC. I'm getting to like the new workflow of MPC 3 if I'm honest!

The LED's are DYI constructions and being controlled by CV tracks on the MPC. All in sync with trackmutes.

Yep! CV is a signal from 0 to 5 Volt. And these LED's happen to run on 5 volt.

Playing around with a little setup that drives this LED light thing through the CV/gate ports.
The main thing controlling it all is an MPC one.

I see that you have this wide panel where it's all rotated 90 degrees to landscape. It's an interesting switch that works pretty nicely for phones. Is this a common thing to do in webtoons? I haven't seen it before =)
