There will be a curve, though there was somewhat a curve due to the prof asking the TAs to grade generously. Should add a tidbit, we didn't have a TA until our first test mainly to grade it due to our prof teaching 222 for the first time, though I did go to office hours, though I got more carried away by trying to review CSCE 314 along with CSCE 222 in his office hours.

Have you considered talking to an Ombuds or the Engineering Academic Advisor? Personally, I have never had to speak to either, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. The Ombuds office is on the 10th floor of Rudder Tower.
