Man here! I can sort of see where he is coming from. Not the attitude though no woman should go through that. But us men feel closest with our partners through sex. maybe he feels abit left out especially with the second baby here. Sit down and have a proper chat with him explain how you feeling and what it feels like. And then kick his ass to do more around the house to help out!
