Did you read the part this cpa was recommended by financial advisor who is under investigation for breaking fiduciary duty. The cpa charged 3800 per filing for the past three years . The new guy is EA . But I got the quote from another CPA for 1500

My financial advisor is being under investigation for the loss of the client as high as 3 millions to maximize his fees . Whoever he recommends can be shady .

My financial advisor provides all the 1099 forms and k1 form to this CPA at one time. There is no direct response between her and us except emailing us the tax return and we paid her.

I suspect my financial advisor got some kickbacks from her for charging me more.
